I think Bergie is doing a good job and nobody should feel like a second class citizen on this Forum. Remember our discussion of politics and my pointing out that sometimes politics is necessary to adequately discuss railroading? I think that the rules Bergie tries to remind us about are reasonable and make the Forum useful and pleasant for most people using it. Michael Sol has several times disagreed with most of the other users, but he still has his say. That to me is democracy in action, and I like it.

Less moderators is a good thing... Everybody has their own style of governing, and many of them might work... But not when they're all done at the same time. Most people who own forums and lists have a bad habit of making all of their friends a moderator. Which is usually a mistake. Too much censorship just creates hostility, which in turn creates the need for more censorship. I think moderation should be a last resort.
