I am so glad to hear you are in NEBRASKA! That's close enough for me - just in the state is great!

If I remember right - seems that McCook had its own division. Glad you got to Lincoln anyway. Keep us all informed where you go and when you go!

We will want a travelogue! :)

No Dorothy, I'm not in Kansas anymore. Was in KC. I'm in McCook. Just got Deadheaded from Lincoln this morning. Probably won't last here in McCook very long. You need a good 20 years to hold anything good. Talk to you later.

oooh...a grand title - and me just a country pumpkin....

How about the matriarch of the Unihead family? Sound too old? Can hardly wait to see who the patriarch is!!!!!

I think since you are the head Unihead you should pass out titles!

Thats an option which sets Uniheads apart from the ordinary, we think before we act.
So think for a while, and help us come up with a grand enough title for you...

Sounds like a plan to me...and I think we need jenny in on this too, as a historian, and language expert, after all, not to many people will grasp the concept of yellow thingies as well as she does.

Post 85 myself, same boat as you, no perks, just sweat.
The trip, well, you know the twerp twins mike and missouri startd the crossing/you are all murdering meanies/you kill people at crossing on purpose to make money nonsense again, same story, different day. Had the usual round of trading insults with them, it got as boring as shooting fish in a barrel, so jenny said "lets get in the car and drive away" from them, and it snowballed into a train trip.
Just ignore them, they dont count.
And yeah, look like the UTU is going to take care of the old heads again, and leave post 85 guys out in the cold.
Stay Frosty,

Yep, Ed. I'm in! Havn't been able to post much lately. I transferred to a small town out Jenny's way, and have to use the local library's 'puter. Not much time to read all of the posts, so what's up with this trip you are talkin' bout Ed? Ahh, heck. probably couldn't get away anyway! I'm bolted, hog tied, and chained to the conductor's ex board. MMMMM MMMM long runs, long layovers, and deadheads at an hourly rate instead of line miles. I smell annother great UTU contract. I'm post 85 so I have no rights. Sorry bout the tangent. I do that sometimes.
