Chris,

That was my camera we used. I hope to post the photo later today after getting home from Trainfest. Well unfortunately I wasn't able to get the wallet in the pocket. Lucky for me Lombard Hobbies (from Chicago) was having trouble with their credit card reader, Not lucky for Lombard though. However later in the morning the problem was resolved.

I will post some photos later today of the Fantastic Five from Trainfest

Well here it is, the Meeting of the Fantastic Five at the Kalmbach Booth at Trainfest 2005 in Milwaukee, WI. I will leave the identification of the names and faces as a mystery. What a great sign.

Trainfest is always a good time, but it takes an entire year for budget to recover from money spent there.

Fantastic Six, not Five, if you count Bergie (far left in yellow).

Nope, this is the same one...unfortunately it's starting to bend- a little too much exposure to the rain (including last year for the CP Holiday train).

Any hat experts that know how to put it back into shape?

I guess I need to learn how to count. I guess the Fantastic Five should have been the Shady Six. I still love the sign.

Anyone who went to train fest - did you see the newer products by Tower 55? They have HO scale locos that have built in speakers that play actual loco sounds recorded from a certain loco... I think this a really neat idea - it makes me wanna make a lay out!

Aw, you used the bad one. [:p] I was giving the thumbs up in the 2nd shot. [:)]

Sound in model locomotives is nothing new, it's called a sound decoder. There's a little speaker inside that has sounds recorded onto it and it's activated by the DCC system. The president, Brian Marsh, visited Erie, PA (and London for that matter) and recorded the sounds for the locomotives himself.

If you go to http://www.tower55products.com/ and click on "Check out our latest ad," you will see a photograph of mine that they used. Or, if you get Railroad Model Craftsman, it's on the back of a few of the earlier issues from this year.

Joe,

Sorry I missed the thumbs up. But I did check out the Tower 55 ad. I can now say that I know a nationally published photographer. Nice Job.
