Of course, I like every train engine.

No Oldtimer, it's just the replies ahead of yours all chose diesels. He asked "locomotives" without anything about "diesel" in the original question.

For me:

Diesel Baldwin RF-16 (one of the models commonly called the Shark Nose)

As far as recent power:

GP59 & GP60 - last of the GP series [^]
GP38-3 - NS rebuild of "old" GP40's & GP50's [:O]
SD70ace - The meanest looking peice of equipment out there only second to a snow plow(or ugliest whichever you like)[8D]

1. C40-9W with NS Original Paint Scheme
2. C40-8W with Conrail Quality Paint Scheme
3. C44-9W with CSX second Paint Scheme
4. SD60 with CSX second Paint Scheme
5. SD60 with NS original Paint Scheme
6. SD40-2 with Illinois Central paint with the "Death Star" logo
7. AC4400CW with Canadian Pacific logo
8. Southern GP59 that NS painted, never seen it, but I'd like to see it someday.
