SD60/GP38 (SOO LINE)
- I like these becasue its the locomotive that i was on the most during the 90's when my grandpa used to take me for train rides.

Dash 9-40CW (NS)
- Really, I only like these because of the cab that NS has in the loco. I just love the way it set up inside.

Dash 9-44CW (CN)
- I like the way these look from the outside cause of there different windows they have. It makes it stand out more from the general GE Wide Cab. I like that.

SD45 (CEFX Blue Paint)
- I love the CEFX Blue Paint as it is but on this loco with the flared radiators, its just awsome to me...

SD40-2/GP40 (CPRS)
- And again these because I got to ride in them a lot with my grandpa...

I could keep going, but i dont feel like it.

1st are the EMD 40 series, and then it gets hazy.
There are some F-M units near the top, close to geeps.
At the bottom, however, are all GE units, except for U30Cs in BN Cascade green.

SD 45, preferably in Great Northern Blue.

Great Trains article about them a couple months ago.

3. GP60M/GP60B
"There is nothing in life that compares with running a locomotive at 80-plus mph with the windows open, the traction motors screaming, the air horns fighting the rush of incoming air to make any sound at all, automobiles on adjacent highways trying and failing to catch up with you, and the unmistakable presence of raw power. You ride with fear in the pit of your stomach knowing you do not really have control of this beast." - D.C. Battle [Trains 10/2002 issue, p74.]

1. SD60 - clean angular lines, good diesel engine and modern, understandable control system
2. GP40-2 - clean angular lines, nicely proportioned. Good diesel engine and control system - no transition!
3. SD80MAC - best attempt at a very high HP loco with universal application
4. NYC Hudson - just perfect!
5. GG1 - just gorgeous

to see...I'd hafta say the older C39-8 camelbacks...for work I definately prefer the blue CEFX AC4400CW lease units ('cos they all have A/C and they're quiet inside)...I know...kinduv an odd response for a former GM employee(franchise) and EMD fan...
Don't worry,it's not supposed to make sense...
