Not many will agree but the Rocks Bankrupcy Blue was a nice paint job when it was clean. The Katy's John deere green paint job was a neat one. Long live the rock!

Chessie....hands down...bright and distinctive with the Ches-C being truly unique.

Never too old to have a happy childhood!

the early Amtrak paint schemes were colorful with the wide red white and blue bands around the locomotives. Also, the Teal/Aqua Penn Central paint was different.

SCL had a Spirit of 76 paint job in Red, White and Blue if memory serves me and Southern had a return to its roots on the Cresent Limited with the Southern Green and Gold.

TRAINS Magazine's "That 70s issue!" is about to hit the newsstands. [:p]
It's a colorful one! What's your favorite seventies paint scheme? What's the worst?[xx(]
