Is this road project,a railroad project.Where the road there,is it rail property ,Seems like a long time to shut a road down.
It looks like UP is running less trains but longer trains.
Anyone catch the UP train that came thru earlier this week that had two cabooses? I was wondering if anyone had anyinfo on the cabooses. Where they were coming and where they were going.
Ed Kyle I've been monitoring the webcam for long periods this week, and, wow. Over 26.3 hours I logged 27 UP and 17 BNSF trains, 24 hour averages of only 24.6 for UP and 15.5 for BNSF. That's about half as many as ran here not long ago. Yikes.

There are those who keep a count at Deshler. Lately the daily count has struggled to get to 40, whereas before it was running up as high as sixty on a daily basis.
I think things are starting to pick up, however. Some trains that had been dropped are apparently starting to run again.

Thanks! "A bad train-watching is better than a good day at work"!! Oh, wait, I forgot that I retired on 2-28-20.
Tuned in just as the guy in the Kubata pulled up to the crapper and went in. That was it for me... I'll be back much later.
Shes up and running
Need to set the focus to infinity and turn off auto-focus... passing trains confuses it.

As of Wednesday afternoon the Rochelle webcam is back online. If you're having trouble viewing it, make sure the Adobe Flash Player is up to date on your computer and try Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge for your web browser.

I wonder if maybe with the Covid-19 shutdowns, maybe someone turned off power to the area? Or someone needed to charge their smartaleckphone and found a convenient socket by unpluging the camera's power supply?
OhiocoalRR Not working for me today? Is upgrade complete? I have black screen with distances to Porviso etc, but no cam feeds nor past pictures available??

It must be wearing a facemask.
Brian Schmidt We are looking into some problems with the webcam. At this time we don't know when it will be fully operational again. Thanks for your interest.
Thank you for letting us know!

Investigate the squirrels in the neighborhood...they will chew up ANYTHING!
I'm getting the same thing you're getting, Brian. It's been like this for a couple of days now.

All i get is the spinning flower icon.
Anyone else having problems accessing the webcam lately? The past few days I've been getting the gray screen of disconnect, telling me either my bandwidth is insufficient (it's not) or the camera is down.
CShaveRRSaw 'em there yesterday, too. If business is down, this would be a good chance to get some work done.
Traditional railroad scenario - business down, furlough everybody, especially those that maintain tracks all they do is spend money on materials - ties, rail, spkes, tie plates etc. etc etc.

Something big happening at the diamonds today? Lots of MoW gathered on the north side!

At 1401 CT - no barrier across the stairway.
I just now looked at the camera website, and I saw that the stairway now has a barrier across it.
Carl, as to lifetime subscriptions, if I had had the wherewithal when I first saw the magazine (I was in the 10th grade) I would done as you did.
Johnny, between that and my lifetime subscription to Trains that they've been trying to interrupt, I think they're trying to kill me off, then resurrect me so I can take advantage of their marvelous offer.
