The pitch of that roof would make walking up to the camera relatively easy:

You probably have to have a climbing permit to get up there or something...  Hmm

You're right.  I hadn't noticed the roof pitch in the picture posted earlier by tree68:

I was too focused on the condition of the UP tracks in the left foreground.  Scary.

You first hit the 'quote' button and then began to write within the 'quote' delimiters.

rdettmer: You somehow posted your line about the ugly spider within what you quoted from my post.  I think I know how you did that but, really, I don't want to take credit for your post.

A Giant Hand just cleared the front of the camera, it used a cloth, yet nothing was destroyed!!!!

Good job.  Now that I know that the camera is mounted on the roof peak, I appreciate the Giant Hand even more.  "You're a braver man than I, Gunga Din."

Is it my imagination or is the camera having more trouble focusing on certain things than it used to?  Can this be a power problem?  Failure of some component?  Maybe the cleaning by the Giant Hand was an attempt to correct this.

At 5:06 it looks like it has evolved to .... "Honey, let me know when you are done watching trains and we can go .. I'll be over here laying down getting some rest."

I thought the giant spider was going to get both of them.

Hee hee..

If I lived substantially closer to Rochelle, I think I'd find a spider Halloween decoration and...

Larry, you and a couple of others are the only ones I know that are tall enough to pull that off...

Haven't seen the spider, but there are workmen all over the diamonds and I hear jackhammers!

Haven't seen our currently resident arachnid although I think I saw her lunch fly by. Devil

That MoW gang has their truck's radio turned way up (so they can hear it over the jackhammers?).  The web cam mike picked it up well enough that I could make out about half of what was being said.

Two units EB on BNSF with LONG unit train of high-sided gondolas barely loaded to the top sills with ???  It appears to be about the right color for iron ore pellets.  Third unit on the rear.  OS 1139

Continued OT:   Thanks.... I've learned that the "reply" and "quick reply" buttons have different results.   Using "quck reply" my posts appear immediately.

Thanks.

Off Topic: - How can I get my posts to appear timely under the subject?  My posts are held for moderation (which is fine) - but often appear hours or days after I've posted - and while posted in chronological order - at the time of my post - lose their relevance to the topic on which I've posted?  My posts are often buried after the topic becomes stale.  Is there a difference between "reply" and "quick reply"?

Thank you very much and I apologize for being off topic.

Thanks

Bob

Your probably still on probation, about 2 or 3 months, my guesstamation. Have patience, don't spam, and you'll be good to go.

If by "that link", you mean the link to the picture that you posted, something strange is going on there.  It seems to be a non-link --- plain text that just looks like a link --- in your post.

I tried posting the link with both the IMG and URL tags, neither took...  Until you quoted it, as you note.  Strange indeed...
