And, of course, these box cars (everything's a box car) are actually Auto-Max cars, with air vents and everything.

Carl, you answered the questions I was going to ask, about seats and ventilation. And Ed remined me about the restraints. Are guillotines an added feature? I do not recall any mention of them before.

Part of the upgraded portion of the order.

Isn't the entire order being built at Amtraks Beech Grove shops?

     This is an ongoing internet hoax.  It seems to pop up with regularity every couple of years.  Give it a little time, and some helpful folks here can provide the links to past disussions of the white boxcars on this forum.
