A cool morning here in Muncie...but pretty blue skies, and of course bright sunshine.  Believe it was 32 when I looked earlier this morning.  Perhaps high in the 50's this afternoon.

Watching that massive + temp. bubble coming from the northwest spreading out widely and moving our way.  Noted temps as much as 30 + normal degrees up over the mid country's northern border.

And almost ice box conditions {relatively speaking}, down over the southeast......I won't put a name to it, but something is seemingly changing our weather patterns to swing in a more radical pattern.

Then of course, this coming week we're to have some of those benefits from the warm bubble headed our way.....60's to almost 70 in some areas I noted on our weather reports on Indy's TV stations last night.

Church.....then our favorite, Olive Garden....with friends / family still here {all season}, from Florida, but this coming week, it is their exit time to head back to Florida.

Couple of years ago, they purchased a house here for the Summer now, and later, to use permenately.

Noted earlier this weekend Tampa was cooler than some location in North Dakota one morning.

Trivia:  Noted our automatic clocks...{ and one wrist watch}, changed to EST sometime last night....First my watch, than later in the night sometime, the others....Didn't see what time that occured.

Of course still lots of electronic clocks...stove...microwave...bed side units....and cars, and so on to do manually.  And some Regulator manual ones.  But for right now...I note this computer clock is not correct...That's unusual.  Have to watch and see what that's all about.  It's 8 hrs. off....???  The minute  digit is right on....?

Quentin, I had to manually set the clock on my cell phone this morning.  Not sure if Walt's cell reset automatically, or if he'll have to do it later.  I don't bother with his cell phone.  And he still has to reset the clock in the Utility Room.

Here is our Sunday Dinner menu:

1.  Canadian bacon, Hawaiian, Pepperoni/mushroom, Supreme, Cheese, Chicago style, Anchovie, Goetta and Italian sausage

2.  For anyone not wanting pizza, we have:  Italian spaghetti w/your choice of Italian bread or Garlic Texas toast, and garden salad

Desserts this afternoon/evening:  Chocolate brownies (plain) or chocolate brownies w/nuts and whatever flavor ice cream you want with the brownies.

That's kind of surprising to me Paula....Thought all cell phones with a clock were automatically set.  Which, makes me curious....Did our's set to the EST.  I didn't pay any attention to it while having it in both vehicles today.  I'll go look.

Yes. it's correct....

Our day totalled out as a nice sunny Fall day....but, Oh how early darkness sets in on us now.  But it was light when we got up this morning.

My phone is right, but half the clocks in the house haven't been changed over yet...

Decent day at the Syracuse train show - got the word out to a number of people and may even have recruited a couple of volunteers.

Not much on the shopping list this year, so I didn't spend my entire 'allowance.'  I was able to find a survey crew (Woodland Scenics) who assure me that they are railroad surveyors...

Plus I found a couple of utility vehicles (hi-rail, no less) for them to use.

And an ice cream truck (with excited kids!)

Did dinner afterwards with daughter and her family.  Grandson was rather excited by his new "Thomas" placemat.

Time to set the rest of the clocks and head for bed.

Allow me to wish Walt a very happy birthday with all the fixins ole pal. I reckon you are aware that this one places you firmly in the over the hill club. On that happy note, have a great day

Quentin, my cell phone finally set it's self to the correct time, seems I still need to get to the utility room and workbench and set that clock.(I'm not out there everyday.)

Tom, I am NOT "Over the Hill" yet, I'm still very much approaching the "Peak" of the hill.

(although even with 24 speeds on my bicycle, there are times that I think I'm there!)

Thank You very much for the B-Day wishes!!

There will be no candles on the cake this year; the fire dept. didn't want to pay that much overtime for the extra pumper that they said they would have to station close to the house.(and a Squirt no less!)

Good Monday morning everyone.  And Walt, HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY!!Happy B-Day Happy B-Day Happy B-Day Happy B-Day  May your birthday be blessed with all the Love, Happiness and Peace you deserve.  At least you're going to have a beautiful day for your birthday, with a high temp of about 68 degrees, and plenty of sunshine!

Coffee, juices, hot chocolate, hot cider and hot tea are all fresh and ready to go.

On the serving station this morning:  the usual bagels and bear claws, turkey bacon, scrambled eggs, and sausage.  And for our "birthday boy", there is a Cherry cupcake w/ONE candle on top, especially for you.  And that cherry cupcake has cherry icing and sprinkles on it.  (Don't forget, you still need to let me know what special meal you want today!!)

Everyone have a great morning, take care and I'll see you all later on.

Well, it looks like birthday greetings are in order for the Mutt!  All the best!  I didn't even have cake this year.  Trying to quit, donchaknow...

If it wasn't so far, I would have brought down an engine.  I think we still have several members of for Forum Fire Brigade in the area.

Waiting for "brown" to bring the weather station for the fire station so I can work out how it'll get mounted on the radio mast.

No corrections or apologies needed Tom!!

CW, I guess I'd like to have "My Usual" thick steak, baked potato w/sour cream, tossed salad, and since I can't get a beer in here, I'll opt for the Punch.

Outside work will be accomplished this afternoon....Out to lunch {somewhere}, first.

Walt, I heard your request, and it is all now ready and on the serving station:

1.  Three inch thick sirloin steaks, w/baked taters, butter, sour cream, garden salad, and, I believe you also like to have sauteed mushrooms & onion w/your steak.  Others around here may like that combo also, so there is enough for all on everything.

2.  Plenty of cupcakes, and there is also a 1/4 sheetcake, decorated with a train scene, and a #6 and #0 candles (that way, we won't have to call in the fire brigade!)Happy B-DayDinner

Happy birthday, Walt!Happy B-Day

It was clouded over when we got up this morning, and misting rain when I started out walking. About half-way, it began raining (not pouring, just raining, with a cold wind), and we may have snow this afternoon.

Thank You All for the Birthday Wishes!!!

Quentin, I really haven't figured out if the years go faster or not. (there still aren't enough hours in the day!)

Ms. Mook, you are welcome to join in partaking the kibbles any time you want, although, I think they just changed to the "Adult Formula".

Morning. I am up for some reason or other, so I may as well open shop. Treat yourselves to the bar and fountain areas. Enjoy yourselves.

42 and clear in Carolina, and gonna stay like this for a couple of days according to the boffins. Then, in time for the weekend, things will go south.

The tree man is coming back later today. Apparently, he didn't do such a great job on unhanging my rotatable antenna, cause it's hung up in the tree again....

Everyone have a great day.

Good Tuesday morning everyone.  Gee, I feel like I've been run over by a truck or train this morning ( that's what going to bed at ll:50 does for you, when you have to get up at 5 a.m.).

Coffee, juices, hot chocolate, etc., are fresh and ready to go.  Regular breakfast fare is on the serving station.

Things should be back to normal at Produce today, so imagine it will be this afternoon, before I make it back in here.  Everyone have a great day, take care and see you all later.

That could certainly take a body out of circulation! Welcome backWelcome! It's good to know that you are able to sit up , walk around, and join in the threads again. It sounds as though the diabetes is under control, and the heart attack has been tamed.
