Which do you like better? I'm talking about the logo.

I like the first one better.

I like the top better, it has the whole name in the logo. The colors are stupid, IMO, they are like a grade school team colors from 1970's.

I don't particularily like either one.

I like the more simplistic style of number one, but I like the fact that you can see "BNSF" from a long distance in photo two.

I liked the old green BN loco's the best.

Give me photo #2, better looking and the cigar band scheme is more like the old ATSF scheme.

What's wrong with orange?

I think it's great that BNSF has adopted the University of Texas colors...

GO HORNS!

Excuse those whom are historicly without thought the BNSF colors represent
the Great Northern in a furture look as historic page unopened.

Couple up and hoses latched.

Actually, maroon and white would look just fine...Gig 'em...Aggies.

(in reality, the second one, but would be better in the old warbonnet red and silver)

I can't just look at the photo and decide by that, rather you have to look at the rest of the railroad. BNSF paints all of their units except the 70,75,C44,and AC44s in the Heritage 1, that look good, I like that scheme. But as you know I like selection, and don't like only one look because paint schemes are disappearing all of the time. I truthfully like the first one better, but I am forced to say the second one because of the selection.

I like the second photo better. Easier to read the Logo and I like that paint scheme better.

I prefer the "cigar band" logo from #2,and the paint scheme from #1.Put them together, and you have a great loco.[:)]

i'd pick the top picture......HOWEVER...i saw a pair of cream and green colored 70's crusin thru Malden, IL the other day which i think is the best looking one of them all. it's too bad only that particular loco received that paint...

Neither of them, BNSF has it all wrong....

You are supposed to paint on white, red, and black rectagular bands, then letter
B-U-R-L-I-N-G-T-O-N R-O-U-T-E inside of the rectangle.[:D]
Well, how about that, there's an example of it in my signature![^]

Since when is UT orange and GREEN?????????

Vote with MC. Red, yellow, black and silver. Can't get used to the pumpkins--maybe I'm just getting too old.

I like #3, the engine all the way on the right... [swg]

For BNSF I think they shoulda recycled the old Northern Pacific scheme, black and that funky yellow with the red pinstripe. Not to mention the "monad" logo! Coolness...

Seriously, I like the Heritage I scheme over the H2. The Heritage 2 is... a little too much. I do like the green and orange though... I always thought Wisconsin should have replaced the old yellow-n-black license plates with green and orange.

Speaking of Amtrak, I saw a picture a while back of ONE E8 or 9 that they painted black, with the "pointless arrow" logo. Sharpest-looking Amtrak engine I ever saw!!! WAY better than the platinum-mist-crap.

I like the top one best. There's just something about green and orange on the side of a locomotive...

The second one just looks like it's a forced adaptation of the old scheme. Things like that almost never look good.

I'm with Puckdropper - but then I'm not a SF fan. The herald certainly looks better - I think that there's too much clutter on the loco nose for the big design - strap it across an F or PA and it might just work.
