I wandered over here and was thinking the same thing. Have good ears you know and must have heard you moving around.

The Mutts must be coming in late today. Everyone else must be on a diet!

Been so busy haven't had time to grab more than a sandwich on my way through the house as I feed the dog...

Tonight isn't much better, so simple fare still sounds good. Cheeseburger "with", fries (will share with Matt), and a tall chocolate shake, with some apple pie a la mode for dessert...

Fire department booster club is tomorrow night, so won't be in. We're serving roast beef, mashed spuds, green beans, coleslaw. Not sure what's up for dessert.

Our 'sister' department down south is sending up the makings for spiedies. Good stuff!

Hello everybody

I'll have some coffee. The forum has got kind of boring for some reason. I don't know if it isn't enough topics of if people are too serious and can't enjoy a harmless laugh.

I even started a silly thread about my railroad for a laugh and not alot of people seemed to be interested at least not to play with the game.

It's Friday, hopefully some people will be more up for the forum and get into it later on in the evening.

Tree - can I have a "kitty" bag?

Junc - Maybe take a wee bit of a break? I will be gone in about an hour for the weekend, so maybe come with me and let forum cool off a bit? They are a little stressed with all the activity. They're old you know......

Finally made it in. We've been CLEANING all morning. Going thru a bunch of things
and putting in garbage and recycling bin. That's why neither of us were in this
morning. I'll have a tuna salad sandwich and fries, please. Along with a tall glass
of iced tea!!

Jim, I entirely agree with the name, I hope bergie kicks them off, or at least makes them get a new forum name. Some people can be really stupid, and trinfinder22 was one. I truely belive he just came here to cause trouble, and I'm sure almost no one is sorry to see him go.

BTW, are Noah and I still the only ones to get the November Trains? Might be fodder for new topics there.

CNN is probably the most boring news network there is. Once they find something to talk about, they go on and on and on like the Energizer bunny. Everytime I hear President Bush, I get to here the same speach again from the political analyst (you can't spell analyst without anal) and than again by the news casters. Then you get Wolf Blitzer who asks the most stupid questions ever. Sometimes I wonder if he will ask Bush his favorite colour.

I love this morning........I woke up by falling out of my bed a hitting my head on a bookcase. I dropped my clock on my foot trying to close the blinds and block out that retched sun (now I know what it would be like to be a vampire).

The birds are excessively yappy this morning and my T.V remote is working lousy. There is no coffee and I can't find anything I want to eat. I stubbed my toe on the piano and I neary stood on the cat.

Other than that....I love this morning.

P.S I'm tired so my spelling probably stinks-I need coffee.

I am learning a very difficult piece by a composer named Alkan. The piece is called Chemin de Fer Op.27 and it is a very intense piano piece. If you go to a classical midi site and listen to it, you will know what I mean.

You can eat the ones I am talking about.

Jim, looks like we need to clean up Kevin's mind. Think we could get Chista to
"wash his mind out with soap"?

Tried a new Hamburger Helper tonight: Double Cheese Quesadilla. It is
really good. We'll have to make it in the diner. Of course, for the diner,
we'll have to quadruple the recipe.

I don't think I want to know about the unedible ones...[:0][}:)]

Some of you like Jim and Noah know me from the MR Coffee Shop, but this is my first post on the Depot Diner.

BTW, does anyone know of any railroads that have bought the SD70ACe's yet?
