[:(]"Interstate Bakeries Corp." says it intends to survive, and its bakeries, outlet stores,
and distribution centers open. Also no plans to layoff any workers. I guess we'll
believe it when we see it.[sigh]

Now might be a good time to go out and STOCK up on items[:D]

I think there should be a public inquiry as to why the twinkie is in danger. A sad day for the world.

I'm curious about something.

When I posted my previous statement about post #2000, I was the only one on the thread, and it showed that I had #2000 after I "refreshed" the site. So I thought my statement was safe. But now it's down to about #2005. How did that happen?

Oh, sorry...just my usual cold cereal and skim milk, please.

From AP: " high-protein,low-carb diets led to a decline in sales of products such
as Twinkies,from Interstate Bakeries Corp."

I don't think WE need low-carb anything. Just moderatition[:D]

One thing about Twinkies - in an age of supersizing everything (or smaller packages for the same price), there's still two Twinkies in the package (occasionally 3).

News reports I've read indicate that Twinkies will not disappear for the foreseeable future.

Good: my heart can continue beating again. That would be disastrous to go into
a grocery store and not find any Twinkies in the bread aisle. [angel]

Now, I do belive that the there is some truth to this fact about twinkies, and also Yodels. There not going out of business though, just reoraganizing. So don't worry, they'll still be there, but I'm not sure if you'll be able to find as many of them. At least that's what my parents told me.

Noah

note: disclamer: this may not have any truth, but I'm pretty sure it is.

Okay, I am just letting everyone know this.

I am going away for the weekend, so I will not be able to post anything for the ENTIRE weekend. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and part of Monday. Nothing will come out of my virtual mouth.

OK folks, question for you all.

Trainfinder22's last post was September 20th. Applause Applause. [:D]

In an email to a forum member I predicted "he wouldn't be riding the forum train" much longer. Not in those words but meaning we would not be seeing any more posts from him. [;)] Looks like I was right.

However, now we have a new poster going by . . . Kissmycaboose7. Am I getting too old for a little humor or is that going WAY FAR OVERBOARD for a forum nic? Personally I think that nic is NOT ACCEPTABLE. [:(!] I AM NOT AMUSSED [:(!]

Do I need to take a "chill pill" or are there others who agree with me. [?]

P.S.

It looks like our self proclaimed resident hobo was booted from the forums.

It also appears that he is back using Kissmycaboose7 as his new nic.

I could be wrong. I have been wrong once or twice in the past. [;)] [;)] [;)]

I might be wrong once or twice in the future too. [;)] [;)] [;)]

Time will tell. <About me being wrong in the future AND about him being back.>

I wonder IF someone unplugged my Open 24 Hours sign. No body is here. [:(]

WHERE IS EVERYONE? [?]

Our Chief Cook must have taken the day off. And I am hungry. [:p]

Tonight I am going to have to find the plug for the sign and make sure it is plugged in. Got to have customers to make money you know. [;)]
