Mookie, I love Kolache, but not prune. I like the traditional poppy seed, or cream cheese. I'm about half Czech, on both sides = half, and that and Roliki which is like a dinner roll, are my favorite Czech foods. Your right, we Czechs have some good food. I never get to eat it much except at a celebration called Cesky den, which is a celebration of our Czech heritage every year. They also have jiternice, which is like a pork sandwitch, but they add some really good spices to the meat.

Not much going on today, just doing my favorite pastime, being lazy. You know I'm certified by the LPA, the Lazy People of America. I'm running in there electons for the president of the club.[:D]

...Yes, Jen...watched every minuted of the game and now it's all over for the season. Believe we've seen the last of the Laker's being the dominant team. Looks like they may have a diffeerent looking team as the next season starts....Our Pacer's too will make some changes...Hope to be even better. Glad to see Larry Brown a winner.

Impacted, been there, done that, got the T-shirt, hat, coffee mug, pain pills AND dentist bill. NO FUN and expensive to boot. Thank God for dental insurance.

AMEN to THAT!! I had all four wisdom teeth surgically removed in 1979 or 1980. Mine
were trying to come in SIDEWAYS. Told the oral surgeon to remove all of them at one
time. Even though I had insurance, I DID NOT want to have to go through it anymore!!

Walt still has two of of bottom wisdom teeth (hmm, maybe that's what's causing him
all this trouble), but all his uppers, including wisdom teeth are gone. So if he has
trouble up top, he just takes THEM out and sends them to the dentist.

and pile braces on with the wisdom teeth at the same time...
ended up having to go twice more for teeth pulled and to get some of my gums cut back to get braces on the last two teeth (which he never did put on mind you)

And for the second teeth pulling, they couldn't get a vein for the anasthetic... gave me some weird gum that numbed my body, but not enough for when they were yanking out the teeth

Modelcar - sports page not around right now, but think the Pistons won!

Jay - Mookie huffed and puffed and stamped all 4 feet and the huge storm we were supposed to have never materialized. In fact, the only thing Lincoln got was dark.
So if Matt got wet last nite, he was in the shower!

Coffee on - anyone want a Kolache? They are from Wilbur, Nebraska and out of this world good! Those Czechs know how to cook! And wouldn't you just know - the prune are my favorite! [:I]

Another successful day at QUIZNO's! I may not be working with model trains, like at Purkey's, but it still is fun. I like to work with food. Makes me hungry though.
Lately, I have been trying to teach my friends. The subject you ask? Trains, of course. I was just going over the Whyte System with a pal of mine, and was quizzing him too.
I drew diagrams like this: oo OOO o, or oo OOOO OOOO oo, and so on. He did pretty good, but the lesson isn't over yet!

Good, your first words, can you say train, thats right train.

Train freak, glad your getting into the job world and making some money. I'd love to get a job, but I've got to wait another couple of years before I'm minimum age.

Things are going farely well around here, hoping the WSOR local comes tonight or tomarrow. Can't say much either, got to go soon. First, I'll take a cappucino, but better make it to go, I'm getting tired, must have caffeine.

Well............since the weather channel can't forcast our weather very well and our local meatheads, I mean meteorologists can't predict the day of the week, this is a big appointment for La Mook - but will see what I can do. Maybe I can sacrifice a chicken!
Tell him to go really fast thru SE Nebraska and should be ok.

Good luck to Matt - keep us posted on how it goes!

Walt - sore teef is no fun! Makes your mouf hurt! But you knew that!

Rainy day in Lincoln - maybe a little precip for Denver area? BUT - you all are east, except the dreaded Dan - so brace yourself for more rain. Plus a little noise!

Taako salad for lunch? Sans beans. Mookie , well, never mind.

No rain in Denver below I-70 so far...maybe today. Yard grass has gone half brown / dormant. Have gotten that "rolling potatoes up there" noise frequently, a light show and one or two drops on the pavement. Only people around me who have green lawns cheat on the watering restrictions. Denver is now 4 inches behind in precipitation for the year and we only average 16 inches a year. (Ed can get that much in two days!)
