Wondered what that bar of soap was doing going down our hill this morning!

Mower #1 would not start (I think the sunlight scared it!), so we went to mower #2 which did fine; finished by 9:00 p.m. (3.5 hours elapsed time which is pretty good, given height of the "crops"). What's nice abt. this time of year is that it was still light when I got done. Coffee and pie for me, please............

You know how impractical this is - it snows and it rains and it sunshines and sometimes it hails. Even golf carts have better protection!

....A little talk across the counter this morning...I noticed a cut of loaded Herzog hoppers placed on siding here in Muncie on NS Frankfort line yesterday....This is the area that just received a ballast and tie makeover within the last month. Wonder if this cut of cars were just here waiting to be delivered on west to more of what was done here....

TrainFreak409,

Nothing's really wrong with rain: except when you get it every day or every other day for
about 2-3 weeks, power lines are downed because of all the lightning, etc. It gets
to be a hassle then, and also, you get tired of it.[:(]

Mookie, I love Kolache, but not prune. I like the traditional poppy seed, or cream cheese. I'm about half Czech, on both sides = half, and that and Roliki which is like a dinner roll, are my favorite Czech foods. Your right, we Czechs have some good food. I never get to eat it much except at a celebration called Cesky den, which is a celebration of our Czech heritage every year. They also have jiternice, which is like a pork sandwitch, but they add some really good spices to the meat.

Not much going on today, just doing my favorite pastime, being lazy. You know I'm certified by the LPA, the Lazy People of America. I'm running in there electons for the president of the club.[:D]

Noah
Noah - you should try the prune ones - they don't taste like prune at all and are a little less sweet than the others. Really very good. Apricot is good too for a change of pace, but prune still the best.

I think I may be a non-paying member of the LPA. I am too lazy to go look in my billfold for the card!
