No MC, I'm still in the "House"; actually the other would be hard to do,as we don't
have a doghouse. Our Huskie/Shepherd lives in the house with us and the
three cats.[:D]

Junctionfan, I don't really have a look that can kill anyone. You know the old saying,
"If looks could kill, I'd be dead." It's that kind of thing. And I don't give anyone that
kind of look very often. I have to be REALLY PEEVED OFF at someone. Haven't
been that peeved in a loooong time.

For supper, had leftover roast, potatoes, carrots and cole slaw. Was really good.
Will fini***hat up tomorrow, and Sunday will be chicken & dumplings day.

(Note to mudchicken: I am NOT a cannibal. I don't use people who have the
nickname mudchicken. Two separate things there.

I can identify with that - people say I have some looks that could kill!

[:o)]

Don't we all[?] I've had SEVERAL people say that about me: that I have a certain
look that could kill people. And one of them who has said that is locomutt!! [angel]

Of course you don't want to be like Medusa though and turn everybody into stone. I don't about you but I would get really sore after awhile lugging stone from my home.

At some point I'll be returning to Monte Vista Co.... Still some unfuinished buisness, perhaps I'll wait until the snow is deep in the arctic circle. I was happy to see that the DRGW narrow gauge steam engine is back in Alamosa.. I missed it last time.

Joe - the neighbors moved out on August 1st - the place is up for sale and only the wind lives next door right now. He isn't having much luck selling it and we are loving the peace and quiet!

Awww, the possibilities, instead of a desk layout (or drawer [:p] ) you now can rent the other side of the duplex and have a whole apartment layout. Joy, the sounds of HO inside the house. [:D]

That would sell the duplex right away - they would buy it for the layout and tear the duplex down!

I'm reminded of the story about the newby northerner who at first revels in having to shovel the driveway and later stalks the snowplow driver...

I have a book that includes info on the old Glenfield and Western. They had one spot to plow that occasionally required crews to get out and shovel the snowplow out of the drift so they could back up and hit it again...
I remember being told by Dad and again reading it somewhere, that they had snow in central Nebraska that covered the snowplow they sent to clear the tracks. Took several days longer than normal to get the job done. I remember some that would cover all the fences and fence posts.

We had some snowplow drivers that we would like to have buried under all their snow, but then we got a snowblower and now don't care.

I threatened my neighbors - who since have moved [:D] - with putting the landlord and the police on speed dial. That seemed to quiet them down for awhile. And believe me, after warning them, I would have done it!

I heard on my scanner the other nite - a mother called the police because her 7 year old was out of control - he refused to clean his room. So I figure calling them for my neighbors noise would sound pretty normal! And maybe provide some relief from those taxing small child calls! grrrrr...oopps - hisssss.....

Randy - would love to see Maine - any time of the year. But I seem to have trouble getting to Omaha to see Willy!

Only been in Boston - no interest in much on the east coast - but do think Maine would be ....was gonna say cool.....Let me know how you like it.....
