H'mm now you switched to macroni salad as the fuel of choice for the loco's? GWB will give you a medal for being smarter then him & solving ou country energy problem. Good for you! However, may I remind you this is a RR forum not a food forim which is 3 doors to the right. . Did you mistake the site by chance?

Pay attention here! Let's not be wandering off subject!

No - no mistake. We have been eating in this diner for a long time. Such a kidder - you know that diners are for food and social conversation. And you must admit, even I engage in a little train conversation along with other conversation.

I would rather have a tiara than a medal, but will take whatever is offered.

Because we want to, because we can, and because no one here cares one wit what you think should, or should not be discussed.
I would suggest that if the content manager of this forum has zero problems with this thread and its contents, then you might find some other forum to act childish on, say Sesame Street, or the Square Pant Sponge Bob.com
Both are about your speed and skill level, and one of them teaches manners, social and language skills, three things you are sorely lacking in.

spbed. There is a purpose for this thread. It is to have a place for chit chat about things other than trains so that other topics don't get gummed up with stuff not related to the main purpose of this forum.

You are correct that it is a free country and you can read and post to this thread, read only, or skip over the whole thing. If you are so bothered by the chatter on this thread that it is driving you over the edge, I guess you can complain to Bergie. Just don't be upset if your complaints are ignored.

Your are correct, it is a public forum, of sorts.
And yes, even the mentally challenged such as you have the right to make idiots of themselves in public.
Please, be my guest, and act as numb as you normally do, we enjoy light comedy with our food every once in a while.

Speaking of food, (and to pester the mental midget) for our anniversary, Aimee and I are going to Landry's Aquarium club tonight, an old warehouse downtown turned into a three story aquarium; you literally get to eat inside the aquarium.
Great steaks, and, imagine this, seafood!
I am thinking pan fried flounder, some shrimp, maybe a little stuffed crab….and a long nap!

You know this is America & I do believe we have the right of free speech guaranteed to us? Do we not? Maybe where you come from in Texas the words "free speech" may mean some else then in other parts of our country. I think the 1st amendment gurantees ALL of us that right. [:o)]

Hate to be sending this "upbeat" news, but the time has come to settle your bill from the Federal government. May you all get really big refunds.

Mook, I'm sure Joe and I can get a wicked batch of Chili goin' here.

Meanwhile, and I'm not sure why this popped in my head, I remembered a quote from our construction newspaper that I read every day as part of the job. Thought I'd share it with you all, as sometimes there is much truth spoken in jest:

"Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience."

Cheers everyone. Have a great day!

Talking about RRs is food is not & just because you have doing this for several years does not make any more right then then now to discuss other the RRs in a RR forum.

Rights, yes, you do have the same rights as every other forum member.

HOWEVER you also have the same RESPONSIBILITIES
as every other member. You cannot have one without the other.

Soooooo, please try and act accordingly. Remember, the key word here is civility. This thread for the most part does exactly what the forum owners want. It promotes comradery within the railfan/railroad community. It has done so in the past without you, and can do so in the future without you.

Please take note, only you control your destinty here. Not me, not Mookie, not Ed, only you control your future in this thread and on this forum. For your own sake, lighten up, enjoy the conversation, and foremost, be civil.

Please remember the old adage, "A word to the wise."

Can anyone else decipher what the actual point of this train wreck of a sentence is? Maybe you should pack up and head over to an English language forum. Then again, maybe not. With sentences like that, you'd probably be booted in the first 3 minutes.

And when excatlly did God go off and leave you in charge of deciding what is and is not right?
If you have the "right" to act like a fool, then I have the right to enjoy the show!
And, as a added bonus, every time you post one of your mangled attempts at the english language, you bring this post back to the top, where even more folks will notice it and enjoy!
Thanks,
and please keep up the fine work and outstanding work!

I have a serious question for Mr. Bed.....

You have a subject that you started and posted on the general forum. Would you be just thrilled with me if I go talk about food on that posting?

You don't want food or chit chat in the diner. What would you like to see in the diner? More train talk? And that makes it different from the regular forum, how?

I don't want to e-mail each person I have contact with on the forum. We can exchange pleasantries that never extend into a conversation one-on-one. The diner is the place we do this. Now you don't like that. Just exactly what do you want to see. Please detail!

I would really like to see some serious answers to serious questions.
