Good Thursday morning, and a HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ONE AND
ALL!!

Cannonball & Jay, glad to see you back in here.

I've got two big ole turkeys in the oven, so they should
be ready by noontime ET.

Meanwhile, take a trip over to the warmer bar, for turkey
bacon, sausage links or patties, homemade buttermilk biscuits,
sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, and your choice of hash browns
or tater tots.

I've got plenty of coffee on, and juice is made; also have
the hot tea, hot chocolate and hot cocoa.

Cannonball

Glad to hear that you made it through the crowd of "turkeys" today.  First time in many years that we are hosting T-day.  If I had to drive this weekend, especially on our frequent run south through Chicago and I-65 from Gary to Indy, I would probably want to get something from Ace Rent-A-Tank.

I know the trucks gotta go, but I get a little peeved at the rig going 65 to pass another going 64-especially when I can get 75-80 without too much of a chance getting stopped.  Ah, life is soooo tough... right?

Enjoy the day.

The trials & tribulations  of the weeks are gone . I try to count my blessings , and there are many.

All the turkeys ain't in the meat case.  There are quite a few on the road . In spite of them we made it home 20 this after noon . We have all our grown youngin's here for the big event , with their young.

So we are very fortunate indeed  Big Smile [:D] . We wish all the Diner folks  a good Thanksgiving .

                                                                     Respectfully , Cannonball & Shirley .

Quite nice here in southern WI, especially for late November.  Mostly my family coming in for turkey tomorrow, it will be a good day.  The best Thanksgiving to everybody.

Well, since it looks like no one's been in all afternoon,
I've just made some sandwiches for supper tonight.  I'm
back fighting the cold/sinus infection, so supper is on
the light side tonight.

1.  grilled cheese
2.  open-face roast beef sandwiches w/mashed taters & gravy

Note:  I've tried to call Jim a couple of times, but haven't
made contact yet.  Will try later on tonight, and let every-
one know how he's getting along.

Orange & Spice tea and a bearclaw SVP.

Half a day at work, then on the road for the shores of Chesapeake Bay.  Son & DIL living in SE MD now, daughter and SIL will be in the area at his brother's, so we'll all get together down there on Friday.

Unfortunately, you "can't get there from here" by rail, so taking the train's out, except for any watching I can pull off on the way.  Just missed one this morning (heard the defect detector, but was still a ways from the crossing).

In case I can't get on over the weekend - Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving, drive safe, and eat too much turkey...

Good Wednesday morning to all.

Coffee is on, juice is freshly made, and there's also
hot tea, hot chocolate, and hot cocoa.

Regular breakfast menu items are on the warmer bar.

Everyone take care, and have a great day.

Joe, you're very welcome.  And for all others, beginning to
serve the evening meal, so come on, grab a plate, and load
it up with good food!!

Think I made enough today (two turkeys plus all the trimmings)
to last through tomorrow night.  Then, Thursday morning, I'll
start all over again, with two more turkeys and all the trim-
mings.

Finally, a real vacation! Five days off! Of course there's the chemistry homework to do and the English questions to answer and the Theology paper to write, but it is still a vacation! Thumbs Up [tup]

CW - The Pre-Thanksgiving food is really great. I'm looking forward to more of it on Thanksgiving!!

Good Tuesday morning to all!  Nice and chilly here this
morning, at 30 degrees.  By around around daybreak, we
should be at about 28 degrees, maybe a degree or two lower.

Coffee is on, juice is made, hot water for tea and cocoa,
and we've got hot chocolate for this morning, also.

Breakfast menu of turkey bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs,
homemade biscuits & sausage gravy, oatmeal, grits, toast &
cream of wheat are all on the warmer bar.

Nice photo Mookie, I am envious of it, it;s got a train in the background. Darn I wish I could have taken some of my high school pictures with a trian in the background!!!
