Shamelessly borrowed from Red Green:

The three phrases that will ensure a long marriage (at least it will seem long):

"Yes, Dear"
"You're right, Dear"
"I'm sorry, Dear"

I don't want to get marred for 3 resons... 1.) The railroad gave me a job, I feeel I need to devote my entire life to the railroad. 2.) I don't wan't someone telling me I can't drink out of the milk jug. 3.) I want to live in a caboose. I don't think there will be enough room for 2 people and a dog.

Sorry for starting another trackside lounge. I shouldn't have done that. 2 and 1/2 day's of school left!

A small contrabution here.

A SD70 blasts westward at Willamsport IN.

The signal 2800 at Willamsport IN

The crossing at Willamsport IN

Justin, I felt that way when I was your age, too. 'Cept I didn't drink milk from the jug.

Besides, I think the nap helped.

Most of me went back to work this morning--voice and a little bit of the mind stayed behind somewhere. It looks like a lot of folks around the yard will have Memorial Day off.

Here was my Memorial Day:

Did I mention that switching with F units is a pain in the you-know-where?

That one started out on GM&O as an F3, was rebuilt as n F10 by ICG, and ended up on MBTA before we got it.

Looks like fun Larry.  If I ever get a chance to make it out East I'll look your operation up.

What do you folks think about starting a new Trackside Lounge up on 6/1/09?  We're just over the 20ish page limit requested by the powers that were (Bergie) now.  If we keep pace with this quantity of posts we'd end up with ~ 4 Trackside Lounges per year (every 3 months).  How's that sound?

Sounds like a plan- just change the word "Spring" in the title to "Summer".

Gee...if we started the new one today, we could call it the "Brian's Birthday edition"!

Happy birthday, Brian--hang in there!

Happy birthday Brian! I started one a while back. It's gone now.

Larry,

An F10. I assume that was a custom re-build? Looks nice! I bet it is harder to switch for the engineer when he has 2 or 3 B's behind him!

Probably a product of Paducah, after the IC merger with GM&O.

Thanks Carl- it was a good day, even though I didn't see a single train.

Happy Birthday Mr. Brian!  I hope you have many happy and healthy returns.  Similar to an expression for fishing...the worst day railfanning is usually better than the best day at work!

Look for a new Trackside Lounge on 6/1, Summer Edition!
