I didn't want anything like zardoz that if you say three times fast while clicking your heels you end up in a square flat state like poor old Ed......

I thought about making it a railroad name like GG1fan or SDP40Fguy, but I haven't actually driven any of those except in HO scale.......

And the things I do drive are not really railroad related.......deskjockey, orionpylut or oldbeatupchevytruckheartedguy just didn't seem right.......

And since guys with state names weren't fairing too well publicly when I joined....I shied away from those.......besides if I used my home state I'd have to do it like this for obvious reasons...TEXAS

Been collecting movies long before I discovered the forums. Used rixflix in various dealings with Columbia House, Kine, Amazon, American Film Institute et al. Besides, it could be the name of the rental service friends keep telling me I should start. Currently the collection has about 400 titles, all movies I know I'll view several or many times and
75% classics. All the AFI 100 U.S. films, plus the best from Hitchcock, Ford, Griffith, Spielberg, Huston, Reed, Renoir, Chaplin, etc. The rest are mostly junk that I like including nearly all the railroad movies.

Tree started out as a sort of an insult by a short guy on my track team in high school. I liked it and have used it ever since. The 68 is the year I graduated from HS (oops - age showing...). I'm 6'5", BTW.

Well, the "Sask" part of my name is because I'm from the province of Saskatchewan.

"Tinplater" is a term which refers to someone who collects and/or operated old tinplate toy trains, which is what I am.

Same problem Dan had, you have to write it TEXAS and loco in the Lone Star sounded too close to the truth!
I have a hard time remembering my wifes birthday, or my kids, and needed something easy, like my own name.
