CSX should look at what conrail was doing right with track work so they can be better at it.

I remember GP-20's on CSX when I worked there.  I started at Plymouth, Mich Oct. 16, 1955 and retired Dec. 31, 1989. It was C&O then.  HAR.

I wish there was more CSX trains coming through where I live. North Central Florida. I hear Palatka is the hot spot for railfanning though. Here...about probably four trains a day pass through, and the tracks are well hidden. Soon though, I will be closer to the better sites

I live in Langhorne PA and the CSX Trenton Line is right outside my bedroom window.  The NS Morrisville line crosses over it right outside and I see that line from my living room window.  There is a connector track between the two which hosts two CSX double stack trains daily.  I think they use the NS tracks because of clearance problems farther south.  This CSX line was once part of the Reading and the NS line once part of the PRR.  The NS Morrisville line was once electrified.  The Trenton Line is electrified for SEPTA MU's trains but there is a third track the splits  from the double track electrified lines that is dedicated to CSX.

Do you have any photos or a site that says there is a ''Conrail painted''  ES44DC. Hopefully its in in the WN scheme and not the normal CR paint thats on most ex CR engines. Then all ex CR engines look better in NS WF/HH paint.

On the Bostic Charlotte line a train hit a van and killed a 8 year old girl and about 3 days later hit another person that was walking on the track.

Better go to one of the Conductor/Engineer schools offered on the internet. Or know the CEO
