Good morninmg all. It was 44 and sunny when the girls roused me up, headed for 63 later. Sounds lke a great day, but frost warnings are out for tonight.
Thanks for breakfast, Joe, and have a good time at the museum.
Everyone have a great day and stay safe

Nebraska is being invaded by Tigers today! It should be a good game.
So far, so good. But I am turning blue holding my breath! If MO gets off the bus, this could get very sticky!
Joe! Found a whole NS mt coal train passing thru our area. Only thing not NS was two Conrail coal gons mixed in the middle. Very Nice!
Caught a glimpse of a GP25 sticking its nose out of the yard. Looked like either in pristine condition or they had just touched up the paint recently.
Back to scarlett & ream and black & gold. Deep breath!

GP-35?
(back from the corner at 9th & Cyanide) - Slept half the day away, gotta get busy.

That cyanide is hard on animal, vegetable and muds!
Mookie mudchicken: GP-35? (back from the corner at 9th & Cyanide) - Slept half the day away, gotta get busy. Very expensive book said GP25 unless Driver can't read clearly (cataract surgery Thurs will clear that up). I was running the binoculars, so didn't observe the # myself. They said 1981, so maybe that was old info. Wouldn't come out far enough for me to see the wheel sets. That cyanide is hard on animal, vegetable and muds!

Keep the cyanide away from the Cafe/Diner/CS! We don't need that stuff in here.
Here is our Saturday Night Pizza Fest menu:
1. Anchovie
2. Canadian bacon
3. Cheese
4. Chicago style
5. Goetta
6. Hawaiian
7. Italian sausage
8. Pepperoni/mushroom
9. Supreme
I even fixed some dessert pizzas tonight:
1. Apple
2. Cherry
3. Peach
4. Strawberry/rhubarb
I've managed to be sort of a busy beaver today: cleaned and straightened things up in the bedroom, did laundry, and somehow managed to break one of our collapsable gophers. I really do not know how I managed that.
Anyway, everyone enjoy your pizzas, have a good evening, and take care. See you all tomorrow. (Think I'll do some baking tonight, so we'll have something special for Halloween tomorrow.)
mookie check your email.G+G had a few tricks for matt as he came for trick or treat. We had cp+soo,NS and green BNSFs come through Deshler.Q500 went west and Q324 came into town to go north. The museum will just be closed for the winter. We will still go see whats going on weather permitting in deshler.See everyone tomorrow.

Deshler Ohio-crossroads of the B&O Matt eats your fries.YUM! Clinton st viaduct undefeated against too tall trucks!!!(voted to be called the "Clinton St. can opener").
Good Sunday morning everyone. Pleasant 53 degrees here in Louisville this morning. High is supposed to be in the mid to upper 60s, with sunshine.
Coffee, juices and other morning beverages are fresh and ready to go. On the serving station this morning: leftover pizza from last night, bagels, bear claws, and an assortment of cupcakes decorated for Halloweeen. You'll find some decorated as witches, ghosts, globbins, skeletons, etc. Just a few, so we'll have enough for later this afternoon, for the trick or treaters who come by. (Trick or treaters who may not necessarily be little kids, like the big kids we all are at heart!)
Everyone have a very good day, keep safe, take care, and see you all later.
P.S. I noticed that the winner of the Miss World pageant is a native Louisvillian. Just goes to show you that we're not all hillbillies here in Kentucky.
morning. It's 53 in Carolina, some clouds but no rain called for. Apparently, a nice fall day is in store for us.
CW, thanks for breakfast, And I wish everyone a great day.
morning
Time for church and Sunday school.Cw thanks for breakfast.I think we are going to G+G house afterwards.back to work tonight.

.....Sunshine in Muncie today, some high clouds, but lots of clear blue sky. Mid 50's now.
No church or Olive Garden....Not up to power.

Yowzers! Carolina won in a big way and dropped a notch in the AP rankings. No rest for the hardworking and weary I guess....
Snowing from time to time, but not sticking.
Gotta get the pumpkin carved and the candy in a bowl. Had to make a trip to town for the candy.
First rule of buying candy for Halloween - always buy something you like. Then if you don't get as many kids as you got candy, you can enjoy it, too!

Auburn is still doing well; look out for the game come 4 December.
Mookie, it seems that the Cornhuskers shucked (or skinned?) the Tigers.
We are off to a Reformation Day service (no steps at the church to worry with) in a few minutes.
Johnny
I'm impressed with 2 other teams - other than the Huskers, who played brilliantly, by the way. Baylor and the Oregon Ducks. I started watching the Ducks a couple of years ago and this year Baylor is really looking sharp! Ducks and Bears - I like animals!
Got the pumpkin carved, but the tealight candles didn't want to stay lit - there's not much wind, but there's enough.
So the guts of my Adlake RR lantern are working tonight, sans the lantern itself.
The pumpkin is up where the kids can't reach it, so tomfoolery shouldn't be a problem (they've gotta bring a ladder, which is how I got it up there - and the ladder is in the garage).
The tank will come in before the night's out, even if the pumpkin doesn't.
Five so far - kind of slow.
Well, after at least 10 years of NOT having ANY Trick-or-Treaters on our street, some munchkin decided to ring our doorbell this evening; I think Sarah found some candy..........we don't generally have much of the sweet stuff around at all; and going by past years, we didn't go out and buy any.
CW asked me to remind all of you that you'll have to fend for yourselves tomorrow; she'll be out early for a meeting and probably won't be back until mid afternoon.(if that early)
Being Crazy, keeps you from going "INSANE" !! "The light at the end of the tunnel, has been turned off due to budget cuts" NOT AFRAID A Vet., and PROUD OF IT!!
I did not count how many came to our door last night despite the light rain, but it may have been 40-50. None came tonight, even though I left the window in the storm door open so I could drop candy into their receptacles without having to open the storm door. (You can see, in my avatar, the reason I put the openable window in the storm door; he was large and interested in people who came to the house, and Ricki did not want him to get out when people merely stopped--salesmen, candy-seeking children, etc.)
About 60 here (and no snow this time!), Da Boyz had a blast checking out the visitors. A couple of the really small ones were more interested in the "puppies" than the candy. The furry monsters will sleep really well tonight.
Expect bedlam in the office on Monday...too many projects, not enough bodies. People have been hoarding cash dependant on the outcome from Tuesday. Hope the folks reading the political tea leaves are right, otherewise we all get put back in the box and get shaken vigorously.
Trading bad muckraking political ads for bad local used car ads will actually be tolerable.[for a while]
mudchicken Trading bad muckraking political ads for bad local used car ads will actually be tolerable.[for a while]
Heck, that's the only kind of car ad we seem to see any more. The car companies have closed up most of the "mom and pop" dealerships. I won't miss the slick mailers or the "robo-calls," either.
Had maybe two dozen visitors.
Can't sleep. Will try again in a bit.
Our end of block was totally dark last nite. Very busy street, so always really struggled to get anyone down here. Finally gave up this year. Saw no foot traffic at all.
Someone needs to call the movers - we are only here thru Oct 31.
Hi Mookie. We had the first trick or treaters in over 20 years Sat nite. We sit off the road behind a stand of trees and most folks don't know we are back here.
I thought we would be moving too, but was advised that the lease had been extended thru the end of the year. We have really piled on the pages over the past few months!
49 at sunrise, another nice day ahead. Everyone take care
good morning
