As I've been playing Microsoft Train Simulator, I've been able to start the train and everything, but I can never tell which stations I'm at, and the routes get really boring after a while (especially the Amtrak NE corridor). So, what am I supposed to do?

Did you hit the F6 button and get the station name in blue?

Not a reply but a question. How are the graphics on the microsoft simulator. I have checked the website and it looks like it is close to the real thing. I just recently bought "trainmaster" and the graphics aren't even close to what i expected. Very disappointed with it. You can't see any of your consist or anything. any helpful thoughts about it would be very helpful. I'd like to see what replies I can get to from people that have maybe tries both.

I have Trainmaster and Microsoft Train Simulator and I think that Train Simulator is alot better than Trainmaster. Train Simulator lets at you look at your train from different angles and views. When you drive passenger trains you can also sit in the coach. On Marias pass with the BNSF you can drive the Dash 9, and GP 38-2, but you can get downloads from the website to drive the SD40-2, and with that download you can get two new cars for the BNSF route. With the same download you can get a caboose, with an excellent caboose view! I think Train Simulator is alot better than Trainmaster.

I have added Mapleleaf Tracks on to my Microsoft simulator and now have several ways to go. One problem I have on both is, when picking weather conditions, if I pick snow, I get a failure and shutdown. Has anyone else experienced this?

The f6 button will show you the name of your stations in addition to the yards, sidings, etc.
Check out Mapleleaftracks.com if you you would like to add more routes and trains.

I believe I right clicked it and opened it. Your PC should show you the MSTS file and just click the install button. It's a snap.

If you use the F10 key, you will see what your next stations are and how many miles to 'em.
