  • Install another browser like Firefox and your problem will go away.  FYI: It's always good to have an alternative browser when situations like this come up.  I mainly use Firefox but have to use IE on occasion when an important pop-up window isn't visible.

Time...It marches on...without ever turning around to see if anyone is even keeping in step.

  • That is what I tried to tell him in another thread. Oh, well.

I vaguely remember that someone said not too long ago that there is an Icon somewhere on this page to click. I think it is a compatibility thing.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.

  • Yeah, I am running Internet Explorer 8 and I have problems to with this site.

Yes, with the new versions of IE, look for an icon near where you enter the URL and there is something that looks like a piece of paper that has been ripped across it.  Click that and see if this will help those using the new versions of IE.

  • When I converted to IE9 I had the same problem and had to click on the Compatibility View icon. But when I did that, I lost the ability to use 'smileys' and all the text edit functions are gone. Small price to pay but it can be annoying.

There's never time to do it right, but always time to do it over.....

  • With Internet Explorer, regarless of version, if you click on Tools near the upper left hand corner of the screen, then click on Compatibility View, you should be able to post.

I use IE8.  I am going to click on a smiley face to see if the smiley face shows up.

Here goes, you be the judge.   Smile
