Railroad Radio Frequencies

  • Hi!

I'm Googling for Radio Frequencies and there's a lot of list out there, but it's hard to know which list is the most accurate and up to date.

Could anyone give me som advise about where I should look?

I'm mostly interested in frequencies that can be heard along the route that we will start on tomorrow when we willl fly to Chicago and head west to North Platte, southeast to Kansas City, St. Louis, and back north to Chicago and finally to Milwaukee for the 75th NMRA convention

    Morten :-)

  • Morten we look forward to seeing you in Milwaukee in July.

Keith Schmidt is a well known Milwaukee railfan (he and Mike Yuhas co-authored the piece in Trains magazine on railfanning the Milwaukee area) and his website

hosts a radio frequency compendium by Dan Grudzialanek

Dan is well traveled and has opportunities to test out his own information.  he is very concerned about accuracy so while I cannot vouch for every frequency on the site, he takes it very seriously.
