hello,
can any one tell me where i can spot them? im pretty sure CN has them sit in the yard since they dont use them. i know some that wc inherited wasp ainted in WC colors. i know 1 is along hwy 41 in fond du lac & the others i dont know. i also seen a old GBW one in the middle of a train i saw in appleton this past summer.
if anyone can help plz do so

Brent-
Most of the ex-WC,exx-Milw cabs are based out ofNeenah, IIRC. Haven't seen any in NFDL for a few years. A couple ofyears ago, a few of the ex-WC/Algoma Central radio control cabs werestored here, but I don't know what happened to them.
TheWC cab currently visable on 41 is scheduled to be moved into NFDL thisyear, along Prospect Ave(old Hwy. 175) at the head of the YellowstoneTrail, as an info office/display about the trail.
is that caboose gonna still say wisconsin central on it or is something gonna be done to it?
im sure alot more people hope it stays wc on it.
In Wausau we use to have a CNW caboose in the south yard, but I highly dought it is still there. I have seen it in a while. Here's a picture I found Online.

I went to North Fond Du Lac today and the Wisconsin Central "tribute" caboose is finished and on display in a city park.
Thanks for the pics, Ed. Went to take my own and post them, but the batteries in my camera were dead.
Mostof the site work was done on Monday oflast week, and the cab was up andon display by Tuesday of last week. The official unveiling is scheduledfor the weekend of August 4th.
thanks for the pic,
im not really suprised to see what it turned out like. the CN logo & the http://www.cn.ca/ kinda runied it. i was picturing it back in wc colors. also was this caboose ever numbered? i know thier was 5 ex milwaukee rd cabooses & that was one of them. i know the 16 in oshkosh is a old MILW. but i have no idea where 17 is ( not the remote reciever) & their is some more numbers that i dont know of.
anyways heres a pic when it stood along hwy 41. & that brings back good times. i loved seeing that caboose their when i traveled down the rd.
Brent, I like seeing your questions and the like, but please learn how to spell. Using "&" all the time doesnt help either.
