Favorate scale

  • Bathroom scale - I set it 20# light and my wife doesn't know. [:)]
  • N scale , TT scale ( New Zealand ), HO scale , OO scale ( British ), 1/64 scale ( New Zealand ) I love all scale
  • I use to be in love with HO, but I have since switched to N. N is more conducive to smaller spaces. I still like to build HO models as they have more parts and tend to be more fun.
  • N scale for me because I have very little space to work with. Z scale is just too small.
  • HO scale for me. Would love to get into Lionel O, though. If I had the space.
  • G--- SCALE I LIKE THE BIG STUFF IT'S EASY FOR ME TO HANDLE, I HAVE AN OUT SIDE LAY OUT, WITH A POND AND A NEW COVERED BRIDGE AND A WATER WHEEL AND BUILDINGS. BEN
  • Hey where is S scale??? That's my favorite, big enough to work with, small enough to have a good layout in my 11x18 foot room. (PS you also left out Z scale).
    Enjoy
    Paul
If you're having fun, you're doing it the right way.
  • O, as in Lionel near scale. I still have my original Santa Fe f-3 set I received for Christmas in 1949 or 1950. Since added to substantially, most before 1957 with the remainder since 1999.
  • As it says in my profile, "Lionel Tinplating Forever!".

BTW, I see you got your movement command working, Mark.
  • N for the house, and G for the Yard.
  • I appreciate all of the above, but I personally model in N scale. I starteted in HO and quickly switched to N for space reasons. Once I stared in N I'll never go back. You can do so much more with the space in N scale.

  • N-scale has got to be the most versatile, at least for my young eyes. Plus you can do so much with so little room. I also love G-scale/LGB and have a collection of that too. Z-scale seems neat and I'm thinking about getting involved there too! [{(-_-)}]

  • I would have to say HO.
  • I'm going to have to say my favorit is HO. I've worked with HO for five glorious years. I just have to say. . . it's great you can do so much w// HO, I've found it much easier to model after certain railraods like some sortlines in my area w/ HO rather than useing G scale or something. I mainly model after CSX and Conrail though. I do have trouble w/ the wireing on HO though :(
