Actually the 2051 is the last SD20 left active on the WSOR's roster as of a couple of weeks ago. The 2054 was running around for a while still, but a few weeks ago it was shipped to Janesville and the lettering painted out, along with the others. So far as I know the 2053 is the only one to actually leave the property thus far (though it ran into some problems on the way to it's new destination), but the others are shut down in Janesville.

Nice photos Brent, you've gotta love those old EMDs. On the topic of football, I'm rooting for a different Bulldog today, Uga. Georgia's going to blow Kentucky out!
Back on the topic of trains, here's one of my better photo's, taken at Emerson, Georgia: http://www.smmrailphotos.net/other/dgupac2.html
i cant take it anymore. i cannot hate on SD40-2s. no matter what road they hail from.?because of this, i shall from here on love all SD40-2s and disregard their pasts. no longer shall the 2900s and the 3000s be called zombies, but rather, the UP Wisconsin fleet.
that being said, i saw 3 UPWF SD40-2s yesterday sitting under the overpass on the east end of the yard. i would show my pic but it's not yet uploaded. later perhaps
Your friendly neighborhood CNW fan.
Well I've got two more EJ&E photos from the other day that I feel like posting, so here they are. The more orange SD38s and SD38-2s the better I say!
K&A, I really wish I could live where you live for a while (well, maybe a few months ago). I love HLCX power, and the CSX pretty much had them all, now with all of the new GEVOs, they have dissapeared in a swift fashion. Anywho, heres what I saw today (i'd post links, but I cant get them to work without it being bare text, and plus I havent uploaded anything to RRPA yet).
The highlights were....
SOO 6031,UP 9800,UP2205(SD60!!!!!!!!),and UP 413X?
Then the WC Transfer had a beautiful conist!
GTW 5860,IC 6250,GTW 5938,and GCFX 6072.
I saw some CSX today also, in the form of CSXT 8761, an SD60M still with its Conrail classlights.
Other stuff included an autorack train with two elephant style C40-8Ws both in warbonnet paint, a coal train with a BNSF swoosh'd grinstein MAC leading two unpatched SD70MACs. An empty coal train with a BN SD60M 2 Window followed by the EMD 9081(an SD60). And the last okay consist was the CP 599 with UP 4188 and a UP C40-8 with wings on the nose.
Thats all from me, and yes I had a bunch of boring AC44s today too Matt....
Alec
Well, my tally for today is 4 trains. 1st: CSX SD40-2, CSX (ex-Conrail) SD50-2 Elephant style on a NB Autorack train. 2nd: CSX AC4400CW, CSX AC4400CW on a NB empty coal train. 3rd: CSX C40-8, CSX ES44DC on the SB Tropicana train (K560). 4th: CSX AC4400CW, CSX SD70M, CSX SD70MAC, CSX SD70MAC, on a very long NB manifest.
WCT, I don't know what CSX does up there, but down here I've been getting swarmed by tons of FURXs, GCFXs (both with very cool K5H horns), HLCXs, CEFXs, and occasionaly CRIXs, LLPXs, NREXs, and GATXs. Best leaser I've caught in a while was an ex-Trona SD45-2 HLCX, which I saw both in Cumberland, Md ( april 2005), and down in Cartersville, Ga (march 2007).

Nice! Back in '05 I caught 2 UP SD60s (one was an SD60M) in 2 days in both Acworth & Emerson, Ga. The 1st was in a train that was led by a filthy UP C40-8W that still had it's S3L. 2nd was behind a trio of UP SD70Ms in Emerson. Heck, I don't think I've seen that many U-pacs this year!
Brent nice catch on the SD20.
EJE, I like your shots too. Pretty soon that will be very rare.
Alec, can't wait to see your shots.
Well I have some more sunday Railfanning. 2 CN SD40-2Ls Work on splitting up the SB.
The day before my parents and I headed up to Thomahawk. Got a TR transfer caboose.
