Thank you all for your kind words! I was rather surprized to see the CNWs since when I go to see them, they usually seem to come through maybe around 11-11:30AM. I was surprized when it was about 9:40AM they came through Geneva at full track speed.
Here is one more from yesterday, the third engine at total logistics control, Burlington Junction 1609, a GP16.
I have to say that is a pretty attactive paint scheme.
Lionel collector, stuck in an N scaler's modelling space.
I got another Point report for this weekend.
First up when I cam was WC 3027.
Switching behind it was WC 1562.
switching in Front of her is a CN slug set, 7282, and 251.
On the other side of the yard was 3021. Pretty faded, but still a WC loco.
Another side veiw of 3027, except this is of the trailing unit, GTW 5956.
3027 again. Starting to get old and beat up on CN Sadly.
On the engine Tracks was 3006. She's in pretty rought shap, but still displaying the one great WC.
A CN GP40-2LW is right next to her.
Behind her is GTW is GTW 5860. Paint is in Pretty rough shape.
Saw a nice little WC sign in this display case by the steamer in Point.
I've been noticing a decline if IC 60XX series SD40-2s. This is probably because they will be getting retired soon. Have been shing alot of IC 61XX's. Bad signs.

Jordan, IC 6068,GCFX 6072, and CN 5266 are headed your way tonight *err, I mean to Stevens Point*. I really wish more GTW stuff would come down this way.....
Good catches though, nice to see the 3006 back up around these parts. Havent caught that since it lead (your going to love this) the transfer here back in 2006.
WC 3006,WC 7495,WC 6006. That was the first three WC lashup I saw since January of 06.
Alec
Well, for the forth day in a row I have a lot of photos to post. I would have to say this is probably one of my busiest stretches of railfanning this year, and with a half day of school tommorow I hope it will continue. Like yesterday, several trains had some pretty good power. A TFM of all things was leading a satck train this morning. I just saw WC 3006 last week at Homewood. It is looking rather beat up but still looking pretty nice. Many of the WCs I've seen lately have been pretty beat up looking. I guess that goes to show how much CN cares about the WC engines. I haven't seen a trio of WCs for a looooong time. Heck it was sometime in 2003 or 2004 on the Harbor Belt mainline when I last saw that.
Well, here are the photos from today.
TFM 2629 heads east into Joliet.
UP 4209 heads through Coal City.
A neat pair of SD40-2s highball into Mazon.
A BNSF ES44DC passes the dpot in Mazon.
Another BNSF ES44Dc highballs into Verona.
A BNSF H1 Dash 9 passes under the ATSF signal bridge at Verona.
A NS ES40DC passes under the same ATSF signal bridge.
A nice warbonnet leads M-CNIGAL just east of Verona.
Yet another GEVO, this time a UP ES44AC, throttles up through Coal City.
Another westbound, with yet another BNSF ES44DC highballs into Coal City.
A very nice sight, a EMD Leasing (Oakway) SD60 leads a baretable train into Coal City.

Well I went to the EJ&E and saw a BNSF autorack train. Alec, you mentioned you saw BNSF 7010 and BNSF 7828 on a Z train recently. Guess what power this autorack train had? It just happened to be BNSF 7010 and BNSF 7828! Sounded pretty nice going by in run 8.
well i think my next train adventures is gonna be saturday & sunday.
saturday is the Football game against clintonville & its in ashwaubenon. & saturday was my plan for train fest but now im gonna have to go on sunday which means after the game ill head to milwaukee for train fest on sunday.

The Missabe Road: Safety First
I saw that earlier, but it won't let me join....
btw, opinions on a random pic?
EJE sweet photos. I like the Oakway Leasing SD60. Haven't seen one of those in Ages. And there getting pretty bad too.
Mat: I really like the photo. Nice contrast and I like how that road goes on (or is that an abonded RR grade?) and on for a while. I also like that it's just open with no trees.
Anyway, on a MR note. I've been doing some Research on this ex MILW sub, the Plymouth Subdivision. I have 2 old WC time tables. I've been looking on Mapquest on the towns and industries. So far I'm half way there. From Hilbert-Plymouth. Now all I need to do is make it from Hilbert-Cut Off Tower, and Muskego Yard.
