Now thats rare!
Can't wait to move, so I can get a better idea on how to take better pictures of the locos.
You think that's rare, try three trains a WEEK! And think of the train only coming after about 1900. That's all I ever get up here in little Reedsburg, Wisconsin, I'm at the end of a branch line. Sad part is it was once the CNW's "Route of the 400" And used to see 15-30 trains a day, from Passenger to all kinds of mixed frieght. Now it sees a three time a week local, and the occasional ballast train loading at a quarry down near the beginning of the line (not near me). Both of you have really got it lucky.

Your friendly neighborhood CNW fan.
Well I got atleast 12 trains a day on CSX's McCormic Sub and 1 intermodle train on certain days. About the same action on on the GA Sub from Atlanta but 1 more intermodle Q129 and some coal trains make their way up there plus a visit from the Masters Train which CSX goes up there and let there officals watch the Masters Golf Turniment. There are Locals from Augusta yard to Harrison Yard plus heard a A train. Example- A772. NS dosn't have alot of action atleast 8 trains 155,156,157,191 and 192 that I know of plus locals from Nixon Yard to Augusta Yard and back or the other way around. Have seen Millitary Cargo trains carrying intermodle like boxes carring Military Equipment to Savanna,GAor Charleston,SC to get loaded on a ship then shipped arcoss the Altantic Ocean. Also there is a TTX transfer where NS dropes off TTX cars to TTX's Hamburg,SC Shop to get repaired and there is a local going to somewhere on the SC side that carries freight.
Saluda,NC the famous Saluda Grade has 0 trains.

Which will be back in....just over a month, unless I take 30 pictures in the next 30 hours. In which case, my parents will kill me.Speaking of trains per day/week/year, we get somewhere around 30 trains a day right here....and I am counting the locals that go by twice. I totally win. Sometimes I can get five an hour....and, for Evan, two of those have GP38-2s.Man, 6060 on Sunday, 2816 today...GOOD week.Storytime.I heard the whistle, and set up....then a cloud came over. It's still lingering as she speeds around the corner at 60+MPH....but, it BARELY moves away, maybe just in time, maybe not, I was too exited to tell. I got a couple pics when it was in the sun, anyways.60+MPH....no event recorders on 2816. I'm guessing you're going to pick these up?
Matt, I like the P2K stuff myself, although so far I've only got one of their E9s in the southern Scheme. That'll get repainted though for the Wisconsin & Southern along with a second E9 for the WSOR so I'll have the matched set like in my avatar. I like P2Ks stuff alright, I just wish I could afford more of it. I'm taking the plunge for my first Atlas Engine here w/DCC in December, so I'll see how I like them too. They are coming out with GP38s in the WSOR scheme, so I've got to get at least one.....
Well, better get going, I've got things to do yet this morning. We'll see you guys around.
