Not just about railroad stuff either, and i am VERY good friends with the trainmaster down here so lets not say that "oh he knows cuz his dad works there". Max, its obvious that you wont stay in the same spot, but if you have enough seniority you can practicly hold a job as long as you keep bidding it. An engineer down here , Ed Patten, old rock island guy, has held the transfer job for YEARS. And money is a big deal if you want a nice house, nice cars, nice stuff. Im not debating that working for the DM&E wouldnt be fun. Not at all, im saying the SMARTER option. I even said myself that i wouldnt mind working for them , but money speaks and you'll all realise that some day. Alec

QUOTE: Originally posted by CMSTPP No unforunately they won't be replacing the bridge for the Soo line, which has been gone for some time now through there. So I don't think there putting another bridge there for invisible trains to run across it. lol[:D] Sorry but the way you put it was like the Soo line was still running. There reworking the track so that it's easier to take in more trains and for them to leave easier. James
