It seems a bit sketchy in the Toledo Blade paper. I think the paper mentioned a RC unit may have been involved. I also read he was working on a track and was struck by a train or car on the next track.
It is always sad to hear about fellow railroaders getting hurt on the job. I think the worst thing is that CSX will try to do is place the blame of the accident on the individual. They will more than likley say that he wasn't following one of the rules in the Safe Way book or something.
Working for the railroad I have learned to always CYA cover your #$%; because if they find the slightest thing wrong they will turn that against you in a min.
