 I was thinking the other day, Alaska and every other state has railroads I know, but does Hawaii? Thanks Mike

Yup. It has a narrow gauge tourest line. It was formerly used for sugercane service.

   Indeed, on Oahu the Hawai'ian Railroad Museum runs a tourist train from Ewa to Kane Point. They have a very nice operation, and have quite a few locos and cars that they are restoring. The people there are about as friendly to talk with as any I've met, and will give you a tour for the asking.

   I believe there is also a tourist line on the Big Island, I've seen the adds for it, but have not seen it in person.

   It'a a real shame more of the sugar cane and pineapple railroads weren't saved, they were very unique to American RRing. I have a couple of books at home about these railroads during WWII, with photos taken by a sailor stationed at Pearl, if you are interested, I will get the name and author, you can order them from the museum and help preservation efforts on the island!

George Hilton's American Narrow Gauge Railroads has about 4 1/2 pages of info on the railroads in Hawaii. One of the more unusual aspects was that the Oahu RR had some stretches of double tracks with ABS.
