I opened this thread expecting a legitimate warning about a product or company.
Instead it's one member's rant against another.
Who cares?
If you want to start a thread bashing someone, use a different subject line so I won't waste my time opening it. Your subject line is misleading and this thread is crap.

On the under payed teacher thing. The teachers average 47K/year where I live. Everyone else in this town averages about 20K.(Seriously! It's THAT low) They still complain they are under payed even at more than twice the local average. Didn't they know this when they picked their college major? It's too bad the teachers union shot down the incentive bonus idea. I think they should get a bonus for graduating kids with higher grades rather than a higher number of kids with lousy grades. (but, that's the union for ya!) Also, teaching should be more than popping in a DVD and making the class watch it. The kids here tell me that's the norm these days.Yes! I do believe teaching starts at home.
65% of my property taxes in Ohio went to the schools. (I don't have kids) Do you mean to tell me it takes more money to run a school system than it takes to run the whole city of Columbus Ohio???(Does anyone see a problem here???)

Why? WHat did I do? Go ahead and say it I won't report you.
P.S. Why can't we all get along?
Why is it the Forums managed to get our Knickers in a wad over one kid.
Ive seen these forums endure serious trollage and other problems in the last few months. Nary a word about trains.
What is it that our buttons are pushed to the point of loading down the groaning server with tons of posts?

No, not for certain personalities who don't take their cues from the rest of us. If this young person is as dysfunctional as you suggest, then he is unlikely to cotton on to shame. In fact, he thrives on the challenge of infuriating others. It is a form of involvement. That is why you should either ignore him completely or continue to model appropriate behaviour. When you engage him with taunts and reproach, it fuels his desire to try novel approaches, but not approaches that are appropriate. Make no mistake, this kid is gleefully learning that he is about three steps ahead of you all the way. It's a thrill for him to keep proving to himself that he is smarter than you. That may or may not be true, but if it is a conclusion that he reaches, it serves his purpose. Your own behaviour does nothing to disabuse him of that notion.
Simply shun him until you see him maturing and becoming a dependable and responsible poster. When you see that behaviour, reward it and reinforce it. That is what behaviour modification is all about.
