I all the time here debate on this and other forums about N scale guys who feel forgotten in foavor of HO. I am an N scaler and I do not feel that way, but I do get frustrated with the seeming over emphasis on "Eastern" railroads to the detriment of the great railroads that have run in the west. New runs of loco's, rolling stock, etc. etc. always seem to carry many times more eastern names and forget great railroads like MoPac, Katy, Rock Island, Frisco, etc. These were great railroads too. MoPac, for only one example, was a major player in the industry up to its merger with UP in 1983, yet many manufacturers and even magazines give it so little attention as if it were some fly-by-night short line or never existed at all. Here is an idea, lets broaden our perspective a little.
