HAPPY BIRTHDAY " border="0" width="81" height="26" /> MrB and MANY more to come.
Great pics guys. Nice scenes Jeff. Aggro, you are the master. Thanks.
I have put the finishing touches on the coke machine right after youth group is over at the church. The boys are discussing the reletive merits of blonds and brunettes. The big news is that the basic foam work is done for the Kanyon. There will be a month of carving before paint, but I am done with the glue gun for a while.

I know the older guys may not even know who 50-cent is (37 myself), but I couldn't help but think of the song in my head
"Its your birthday, were gonna party like it's your birthday, gonna drink bicardi like it's your birthday .. . . you can find me in the club . . ."
Anyway, Happy Birthday MisterBeasley, enjoy your day!!

Hey Ryan, Could you slam that about 150 times and let me know how it holds up. I need a field test for my son.
Looks good. Remarkably like the plan you posted.

Nice gate, Ryan! It looks simple and effective...I'll bet you had a good time planning it and then making and installing it. Good job.

OK, OK. I get the message. The Hudson has been patiently sitting in its box for two months, waiting for it to be "given" to me. So, last night I got to open up the packaging. I'd already tested the engine and programmed the address, so after I installed the front boiler hatch, all I had to do was put the engine down on the tracks and power it up.
Now, though, it's back to the shop for me for some trackwork. As always, a big steamer has found the imperfections in my tracklaying, so I've got some work to do before this one can run down the tracks without derailing.
It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.
Everything looks great as always! My MRR days are numbered because I just went through the second clutch in a month on my Audi, a $500 rebuild needed each time, so I might be in the marked for a different car, and when I though model railroading couldn't be further from me to work on, its just taken a new unexpected turn for the worse...

Great Work everyone!......Here is the T.R.R.A. picking up some tank cars from the team track to return to the main yard.

Jeff smart idea with the wheels i wish I could do that but the layout is so pressed fit.

MrB, I thought that you would be at the diner. I wondered if you would keep that Hudson in the box or if you would exercise it once and a while.
No photos for me this weekend. All my efforts are not photo worthy. Maybe next weekend.

I have walls on three sides. That's why I built it in two halves. I could roll each half in and out to work on the stuff out of reach by the walls. Now that all of the long reach stuff is done on the side walls sections, I can bolt it together and just roll it in an out until the back wall section is completely landscaped. It is on carpet but it still rolls somewhat easily. It takes two people to roll it mainly due to the size.
Selector --that back drop is awesome! must have took forever to paint it.
loathar--Thanks. what locale is all the foam going to be model after?
simon1966--Thanks I do concider it to be one of my best!
fifedog --oddly enough, I'm not even in the NMRA. Thanks though.

Happy Birthday Mister Beasley. I haven't reached your age yet, but am certainly old enough to have a killer back ache this weekend. Since simply standing up straight is a real pain (literally) the only pics I can contribute are left-overs from last weekend.
Aggro, the weathering on that boxcar is fantastic.
Cheers.
Aggro,
I always enjoy the detail on your rolling stock. I am curious, what are you using for your trees.
Sue
AggroJones, your weathering never ceases to amaze me - they always look so real.
Happy Birthday MisterBeasley!
I haven't had that much time over the last 7 weeks, but I did find time to detail a generic Bachmann PRR 0-6-0 steamer by painting the smokebox "charcoal" (it's alot darker than it looks), added a scratch built condenser coil (made with brass rod) to the left side, added grab irons and a number board to the front of the smokebox and grab irons to the rear cab of the locomotive, window "glass" in the cab, and added grab irons and a reverse light lense to the tender. I also glued the a layer of ground foam around my speeder shed and the remaining yard areas so that you can't see the base coat of brown. 12 sq ft. more to go! Now I just have to plant ALOT of trees...
And of course, I can't forget the reason I haven't had time over the last 7 weeks...
Aggro, these just blow me away everytime !
Regards,
Tom

I sure admire your will power - I don't know how you kept your hands off that beauty for so long. The day my RDG T1 arrived, I rushed home from work, kissed the dog, patted my wife on the head and headed down to the basement. She understands.

Here's a couple of pictures from today's Golden Spike ceremony. Three Dash 8s, led by the 9/11 memorial unit, met a pair of Dash 9s at the track junction. A golden spike was driven.
