5. What type of model train do you or your parents own? (Lionel, LGB, Atlas, etc.)

Atlas, Coach Yard, Train Station Products, Athearn, Challenger Imports, Tichy, Red Caboose, Walthers, Life Like (That isn't everything, but a good chunk of it)

6. Do you know the significance of scale and gauge differences? Yes

7. Do you only erect your train set during certain occasions? No

8. Did you ever think of selling or throwing away your trains? I sometimes sell certain pieces to make a buck, but have never considered selling the whole lot and getting out of the hobby.

9. What is your favorite make of model train? The Coach Yard

10. Did you receive any model trains (or set pieces) from your parents? Yes

8. Did you ever think of selling or throwing away your trains?  NO.  (Well, how about selling one set to buy another?  Like going from HO to N.  I did sell my O-gauge Lionels to move to HO, many years ago.  I've thought about moving to N, but I don't think I will now.)

9. What is your favorite make of model train?  I like Walthers Proto 2000 engines a lot.

10. Did you receive any model trains (or set pieces) from your parents?  Sure.  50 years ago.

It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.

4)    Yes. Myself, parents both deceased.

5)    Kato, Atlas, LifeLike.

6)    Yes, Scale= model size to full size.

              Guage= distance between inside of rails.

7)   No. Small permanent setup in basement.

8)   Absolutely not.

9)    Kato.

10)    Yes, a Lifelike 4-6-2 Pacific when she was 90. She  passed  away the following year.

7. Do you only erect your train set during certain occasions?        Nope, its always UP!

8. Did you ever think of selling or throwing away your trains?        Nope!

9. What is your favorite make of model train?                             Athearn

10. Did you receive any model trains (or set pieces) from your parents?    Nope. This last is a little vague. If you mean did my parents give me one of the trains they owned, the answer is NO. If you mean did my parents buy trains for me as gifts, the answer is Yes.
