I hope you are able to stick with the hobby after everything is "done". Good luck with your auction. You should be able to edit your auction. I believe that if you bring up the auction while you are logged in, there should be an edit link.

He really doesn't know what he's doing. The second auction was posted to show more photos of what he had. What he ended up doing is auctioning the same layout twice. [%-)]
His feedback has a couple of wierd things on it too.

The only way I think of now that they can avoid it is to edit the auction not closer to 12 hours to deadline and drop the asking price to 250.00 or whatever.

While I seen brass locomotive collections worth over $25,000 I never seen a layout like that worth over $100.00.

Have some mercy, guys. I've e-mailed the seller explaining a few of the obvious problems with his auction. The seller doesn't know how to sell model trains on eBay, and probably has to deal with Dad's way over-estimation of what the collection is worth as well. Dad obviously valued some pieces highly, because of the display case. Of course, if (probably isn't) over 50 of those locos are brass, you'all and I may have to eat a few words!

I emailed the seller and asked about his price...his response:

Too bad he didn't think to have this info in his listing. It's still overpriced.

The other ad actually shows a display case with what appears to be locomotives in it. Don't ask me anymore as it is very hard to make out anything.

Put it this way - if you want to make good money, you need to present it a whole lot better. A picture might equal 1000words but in this case - NOT!!
