That van is impressive. Too bad it isn't red and silver warbonnet with Santa Fe lettering.

-If you remember product release dates instead of dates of birthdays, and holidays, etc.
(that happened to me a bunch of times!!!)

-If you have a Refrigorator, Microwave, and a Bathroom/Shower in your basement for those long operating sessions

-If you wait to buy that new washing machine, so you can buy that brass locomotive you've always wanted

I love the smell of ALCo smoke in the Morning. "Long live the 251!!!" I miss the GBW and my favorite uncle is Uncle Pete. Uncle Pete eats Space Noodles for breakfast.

...you replace the Ford, Chev, Dodge..etc emblems on your car with Athearn, Atlas, Kato, P2K, or any other model rr logo.

...the local hobby store has reserved the parking spot closest to the front door with your name on it.

Are you an indoor layout? so am I, 1/2", posted a question on this forum asking people to talk about their large scale indoor layouts, dropped it cause of no responces, forum topic is still active over on garden RR forum. Am trying to set up a contact list of large scalers doing the indoor thing, since we have our own special problems and issues that other scales dont have (aka=lack of suppliers, lack of space, etc) so problems and solutions can be discussed. reply if this is case and let me know if you are interested.

. . .You start buying kits that you will build 'someday' and end up with more unassembled models than the local hobby shop.
. . . You send angry letters to movie producers complaining of all the 'errors' during train scenes in various movies.
. . . You give you friends and relatives a copy of the Walthers catalog as your Chirstmas list.
. . . You eat only at restauraunts that are within 200 feet of a mainline.

your friends have to drag you away from the car window because while driving by you saw a tank car on a siding and started drooling.

you've had dreams of having a HUGE layout ( I realy have!!!!!!)

you sing " al I want for chrismass is a big berkshire"

your favorite painting is "st. Lazare train station"(or however you spell it.)

Alex in the sooner state.
