I actually saw a truck painted in C&NW colours a week or so ago - think it was operated by a parcel delivery company but it was definately in C&NW yellow and green! Wonder if the company that ran it realised (probably not!)

*thinks* hmm, that paint scheme might suit my Discovery, yellow bodywork and green roof...?

You are definately a model railroader when your collection IS the house.
...when your house looks like a passenger station.
... you have to buy a bigger house to fit your layout.
.... HONEY... DO WE HAVE ROOM FOR MY HUMP YARD????

When choosing a new car, you have two criteria:

1) It must be big enough to move building materials and completed layout sections around

2) You can find a HO scale (or whatever scale you model) version of it to paint the same way as your real car (Incidently, does anyone know if any manufacturers produce a Land Rover Discovery in HO, as I've searched everywhere I can think of and found nothing!)

As an architect, I measure buildings frequently. Every time that I read off the tape measure " 4'-8 1/2" " I think, "standard guage"...

That van is impressive. Too bad it isn't red and silver warbonnet with Santa Fe lettering.

I have a 91 S-10 I have thought about painting SF colors:) It's already red, I'd just have to do the silver!
