John Allen Photos?

Anyone know of any links where I can view John Allen's railroad the Gorre & Daphetid. I have searched all over the web (google) and can't find any pictures of it anywhere. I know there is a book but the only copies of I found where used ones on amazon for $70. Wowzers!

I just want to see some pics of it.

I really think those in the book are most likely the only ones left. As you may not know, shortly after Johns death, his house and layout were just about completely destroyed by a mysterious fire of unknown origin. Only a few 35mm slides were discovered undamaged, but for a little smoke damage and I believe those were used in the book.

Sunday River Productions has a 36min tape of the G&D in action. Nice tape with some shots of the 2nd layout with some from the 3rd or final layout.

Sometimes at swap meets you will find sets of slides of the G&D that Pacific Fast Mail sold in the 1950s -- but I think most of those shots made the Westcott book.
