Hey Haven, I'm just "a good stretch of the legs" up the road.

My friends and I belong to Tower City Trail Riders off road riding club, on the other side of I-81. Nice country. I kinda model my train layout on the area .... small coal mines, etc

Anything good in The Mining Journal today??[;)]

Well there has been something about LS&I upgrading the ore dock. I really don't read it. Just the Comics and sometimes the Vessels stuff and if there Train stuff I read it.

And CSmith.. Used to do Oktoberfest in New Braunfels. I was stationed at Randolph in the mid 70s.

It is called Wurstfest now. It has become so commercialized that it really isn't as fun as it used to be. Same with tubing there. I have a bunch of family in Schertz too.
