Well guys. I didn't think this day would come for a long time, but I finally made a thousand posts ([:D]). Now I'm going to take myself a long and much needed break away from this rotten computer...

Take care, and until I return one of these days, keep them trains a runnin!.

I'm trying really hard not to post the image I usually put in these kinds of threads, at other forums.

Oops! Looks like I failed.

I'm just kidding. Now, go run your trains. [:D]

Congrats on the posts. I know when I hit 1000 it was kind of neat. I didn't even realize that I'd had that much to say, but I guess I did. While the stars and post counts don't mean a whole lot as far as content of posts goes, it does let you know who's been around a while at just a glance.

Congrats, now you're an old timer! ( In only 5 months no doubt!)

My question too. Often would see 6-10 posts on the first two pages, most of which seemed to be just taking up space, or I guess accumulating post numbers. 1000 doesn't really mean anything if most of them were a waste of time.

This is one who I always skip over, never even bother reading, just like another Bud.

Chuck, you beat me to it. That is exactly what I was going to write. I'd much rather have 50 quality posts than 1000 meaningless ones. At least now we know what he was aiming for all along.

And on reaching the 1,000th post --( I've never been able to figure out why reaching an unimportant milestone is worthy of artificial achievement. )

I must say Tracky has started a lot of threads latley (don't get me wrong i've got nothing against you- at least it was ON TOPIC) Yes it is quality , not quanity. I s'pose someone will pop in and tell me some of my posts were not quality. Well congrats Tracky (now you have a nickname) on your 1000+ posts.
