Mine's a lot easier. My wife just asks me what I want for Christmas, and when I wake up on Christmas morning.. POOF... it's under the tree. As long as it's railroad or Raider related. I couldn't talk her into Tyra Banks or Vanessa Williams...

I wish for more turbines in N scale that I can afford! The only affordable turbine was the Con-Cor Veranda, and I have one. I'd like to see a Big Blow, and an S2.

And I'm also waiting for an affordable plastic model of the SD70ACe in N scale as well.

And I'm still hoping for an ACE-3000.[:D]

On my wish list would be FM H20-44, preferably Atlas. Any locomotive, steam or diesel in AC&Y paint. I have the Atlas H15, will probably get a H16 undecorated, and try to paint it myself (horriable thought) :(

It would be nice if the new Athearn RS-3 (yes I know it;s the old Roundhouse) would come factory painted for Reading. In the meantime, I have an undec Atlas and an undec Roundhouse that will stand in as soon as I find enough decal sets (got one, and have plenty of paint).
I still want to aquire that one P2K GP-7 so I have all 4 numbers offered, but I really need the RS-3's, they were the most numerous of Reading's first gen diesels. Other than that - I think I have enough locos for now.

My wishes are all HO.[:D]

1. A U50B that can go around an 18" radius, is well detailed, is all wheel drive and costs $150 at the most.
2. A high quality old time 4-4-0 (kind of like Bachmann's Jupiter, or Mantua's General) that's not over-priced.
3. A plastic 4-12-2 that can at least make it around a 22" radius.

And that's about all for right now. If I think of anything else I'll edit it into my post.[:D]

I'd like to see a ALCO C420 by either Atlas or Athearn. Not by Walthers/Proto 2000, their prices are too high.

corborn35,

That DM&IR NW2 was originally C&O 5060, then EJ&E 455. It was transferred to the DM&IR in 1998 as their second number 11 for use as a shop switcher. It got a maroon band below the cab window and a logo was applied. The engine does not look like an NW2 as the C&O field upgraded it to SW1200 specs before it was sold to the EJ&E.

The DM&IR did purchase new SW9's(11-25) in 1953, and these were painted in the classic paint scheme with the big 'wing' logo similar to the 2-8-8-4 tenders. These units were sold off to other US Steel roads as the DM&IR standardized on 6 axle units(late 50's/early 60's). The P2K SW9/1200 or the BLI SW7 are very close....The Missabe Historical Group should have link to correct decals and pictures.

I'm looking to purchase an S2 or S4 and an F2A. Both will be in B&M. The S2 or S4 I will have to renumber and possibly modify so that it correctly resembles unit 1271. I would like the F2A to head up my commuter runs.

[edit] how did I forget? an Athearn RTR GP40 for my through freights

An Atlas or Kato HO GP15, or maybe from Athearn, maybe. More Kato SD40-2's. I'd also like to see, big time wishful thinking here, CN SD50F's, SD60F's, or C40-8M's in plastic.
