great pics!...still working on the refinery...scratch built 3 superheated steam boilers, a flare and this cooling tower...the cooling tower shrouds are old nyquil cold medicine dosage cups...works for me!...eat your heart out plastruct!..LOL....chuck

Been working on the Champion Mine in the South Yuba Canyon for the past millenium, finally got it installed, and now have to install the Kentucky Mine in Sierra City. Anyway, here's a shot of my L-131 pulling a freight with the Champion in the distance--the clearance is so tight in the canyon that the tracks have to squeeze between the mine buildings and the #2 shaft entrance.

Hopefully have some pictures of the Kentucky Mine tomorrow or so.

More Christmas trains! My older brother has come over for a Christmas party we're having tomorrow, and he brought his train. He isn't a big train enthusiast, but I'm working on him.[;)] This is his MTH Bantam S2 Turbine.[tup] (I sold it to him when I worked at Purkeys)

Digital Griffin, I use photobucket and it works fine. It must be easy because I learned to use it in about three trys. TF409, nice tree. I am learning to look forward to your posts. They are pretty cool.

We,ve had our tree up for some time, but I still havent put tracks around!

I've put all the structures back on my layout so now it looks fantastic, but I don't feel like trying to find my camera...hehehe...I had better get it done.

While waiting for an order to arrive from Walther's at my LHS (3 weeks and holding), I have decided to put together some old vehicles that I have had sitting on the shelf for the last year or so. I tackled the Jordan kits first. (&*^%%$#$%%^) Man, talk about small parts. I'm using a 5x optivisor to even see some of them. Then you have to actually hold them in place without shaking or anything while they set up.....

Definitely not my best work, but next time I will have some new ways of doing them (like not using solvent to glue them together and them spray them with dull cote to get rid of the shiny spots so that the glass is ruined!) Oh well......

Can you imagine trying to find your car in the Mall parking lot in 1925? "Well just look for a black one with spoke wheels....."

I like that Phantom. It looks like a future space train. Photobuckets real easy. No software and you'll be posting in less than a half hour. They automatically put all the code on your pics that you need to post them.

I usually use Image Shack, at www.imageshack.us , but there are others as well, like Photo Bucket, www.photobucket.com I think is the website.

You could always get a Rail Images account, www.railimages.com , but that may take a day because you need to email them.

Weekend Photo Fun!

Well...Since I don't have school today, my weekend has started early! So, this morning we completed our Christmas tree by adding some trains underneath it. Of course, I had to get pictures, so here they are. We are running a Lionel Phantom III with a matching four car set. As well as a Bachmann On30 North Pole & Southern Express.[:D]
