even if they were made of styrofoam, there is still enough there to kill someone, let alone that they are made of steel (and aluminum...)

The CSX 'Boston Line' connects with VC I believe somewhere around there, and somehow they wind up on Guilford. LOL Correct me if I'm wrong somebody.

I've seen the HO GP35s, had 2 of them for a while, didn't like them too much, but they ran ok even if the detail was a bit lacking. (The whole cab was misproportioned)

My LHS has 2 test tracks, one for all scales DC, and another hooked up to an MRC prodigy for HO and N. Is your LHS anything like this?

Hi Keith, www.discounttrainsonline.com are selling them at 86dollars and 10cents each. That's a good saving.
They are a bit slow but apart from that I have had no trouble with them.

Wow, this thread is really on life support!
I would, if you get a lot of locos, use a few tracks on the other side of the turntable, like a yard for engines. I wish I had one of these, it would make storing my 18 engines simpler.
As for a roundhouse, whatever looks good. And don't rule out scratchbuilding, it's not that hard, and you can add more details later.
