I'm sorry, but I really don't see any weathering here. It looks like the car was just painted another brownish/rust color. The AggroJones cars, now they look weathered!

Whatever floats your boat I guess.

Well, two factors are:
1, I'm a rookie at weathering.
2, I kinda got the look I wanted, and it looks much better in person. But nothing close to Aggro.

Bob, you make a good point, but right now I'm still in the stages of "practice", even though I have sold a car on eBay already. So anything I can get that looks half-way realistic to me, works for now.

Nice. [:)] M'kay, If you'd like to advance your skills head over to http://www.modeltrainsweathered.com/forum/

Divizio's forum is a bomb concentration of weathering enthusiast.

PS--Do you have photos of the prototype you copied from?

Yeah, Mellow Mike gave me the link, so I joined and have since been an annoyance to the whole community over there![:D] Okay, actually I've kept quiet and read for the most part, only asking a few questions and commenting on weathering jobs of fellow members.

I had the photos, but they have gotten lost in the jumble of a mess of my home, as we are redoing the dining room. If I stumble upon them, and if I can get my photo scanner to work, then I will share them with you all. I would take a couple more pics, but as I mentioned, three of them, including the main one I was modeling, are probably gone to scarap. The only one that remains is an old FGE "Solid Gold" reefer, and all I was copying off of it was the rust color. The rest of the cars were box cars, just like the RailBox.
