QUOTE: Originally posted by GN-Rick I'd like to see a good small 2-6-6-2T logging Mallet, along the lines of Weyerhauser #110 or 111 or something similar. I'd also like to see BLI do a couple of plastic-not brass-GN steam locomotives, perhaps an S-1 Northern or (!) an R-2 2-8-8-2. I fear, however, that I'm dreaming.[sigh]

Over here near Sacramento with me, Tom White, Jetrock , Borockhard, and bangert1? Nope... I'm down south in LA-LA land. Torrance actually. Not far from the Lomita Railroad Museum. You're all close to the California State Railroad Museum. That's pretty cool. I need to get up there and visit again as it's been a few years.

They've been making F-45's since the late 60's, IIRC. And there are several for sale on Ebay right now. http://tinyurl.com/a5upk I believe Microscale makes decals for MRL. The paint job is relatively simple. Have at it. Andre
