SSW9389 was a patriotic Bicentennial diesel. I like the Cotton Belt and was born on the Fourth of July. The combination was a natural for a screen name on this list and several others.

Mine's fairly straight forward.

Sask. is the abbreviation of my home province of Saskatchewan.

Tinplater refers to my love of collecting and operating vintage tinplate trains.

Real name is Cor Bos and in Europe we (used to) call 4 axels locomotives "BoBo" and six axels "CoCo". So leaving two letters out of my real name would give a nice link to railroading.
Though it was nice when I made it up.

GMT for Greenwich Mean Time where time begins on the 24 hour clock in Greenwich England. From my days watch standing in the Navy it has significance. From my families predilection for English cars, it has significance. For my business preparing English race cars, it has significance and also explains the Racing part. J.R. Oh yeah I'm also into initials no? [:D]

My user name comes from being a Trainnut in general, and 484 stands for 4-8-4 wheel arrangement of a popular type of steam locomotive.

Take care,

Mine is my first name. Since it's unique, it is usually available to use. I am sure all of the good PRR user names have already been taken.

Darth Santa Fe, because Darth Vader is my favorite character from Star Wars, and I like Santa Fe. I like other railroads too, but the silver and red warbonnet is one of my favorite paint schemes on diesels.[:D][:D][:D]

The "ones" have no significance. The "shado" part is a reference to my favorite TV show. Gerry Anderson's "UFO", from 1970.

Well I guess this is a no brainer: Great Northern Rail Road
They were the trains I grew up with and loved since I was old enough to run out the track and see them. That I guess was since I was about five or six years old. To see that flag fall was truly a heart breaker. It was almost like someone died in the family. :(
