Well, last night I was listening to "Chicago Christmas * What's It Gonna Be, Santa?. Their music is done so well that I don't care if it's Christmas music, even in July.[:D] They made the CD in 2003.

Well I wish I was watching SpongeBob. He is a cool guy even though he spends allot of time whining. Right now I hear my little beagle Harley chewing on a treat, AC unit humming and the clatter of the keyboard. Soon as the wife goes to work in a few minutes I will be hearing the sound of my PR2K GP-9 that I just put sound in. When I work on the railroad I put the Geep on one of the tracks near me and just let it idle. I think I will put sound in all my Geeps because the sound is so much better than the Qsi sound I have in the store bought Geep 9 w/QSI sound. I don't know if they use cheap speakers or what but the sound is very high and tinny. I put a nice 2.5 x 3/4 speaker w/soundtrax board in my other GP-9 and it sounds so deep and throaty. Oh sorry I got sidetracked.

The tail end of Tony Bennet singing "If I Ruled the World"......alright iTunes is now shuffling the tracks....and now I'm listening to Eric Idle singing "Always Look on The Bright Side of Life".....now that's quite the interesting change.

Well, earlier it was the satisfactory sounds of Albert Pujols lining into a double play against the Cubs: Lines out to Neifi Perez, Perez throws to Walker for the double play and the third out in the bottom of the ninth. Now it is a little bit of rock like Relient K, System of a Down, Velvet Revolver, and Harvey Danger.

There's a big TV in the train room, so I was watching the OLN replay of today's Tour de France action. After that ended, I switched inputs to the train cam, and ran my Bowser PCC car around with the camera car, pushed by the R-17 subway train, in hot pursuit.

It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.

NOTHING! for cripes sakes, when i"m on the forums i get 100s of ideas from them, thinking about what i"m going to do on the layouts, or what i could do better, ect. music or tv would just totaly distract me. when i"m in train mode,i like to stay "on track". [:D] [;)]

My dehumidifier cycling in its attempts to keep the humidity low enough so that the flextrack segment across the big bridge doesn't bend......again.

A wall clock ticking.

The VCR just clicked and whirred to life to record Lance Armstrong's historic last competitive time trial on the Tour...during which he spanked everyone. [:D]

Metallica[tup]

Funny, I was going to bring this back up last night. [:0]

Currently, I am listening to: Trans-Siberian Orchestra- Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24.

Up next: System of a Down- Hypnotize.

Afterwards: A Perfect Circle- The Outsider.
(Ain't rock great? [:)])

Then, the Nutcracker Suite, composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
(It's Christmas, isn't it?)

Model Railroading truly relaxes me, and I like my music to match it. Been listening to modern jazz and haven't looked back. I listen to albums from Chuck Loeb, Joyce Kooling, Paul Brown, Jeff Kashiwa...... It's not the "sleepy" stereotype stuff. It's very upbeat and cool. It's the type of music that reminds of me sitting in a speeding train as I enjoy the scenery. I noticed that even some of my "rock oriented" friends like some of the instrumental tunes.

After I build my version of the SCL Champion, I plan on making a video of it cruising on my club's layout. I plan on having Paul Brown's hit tune "24/7" as the background music. At this time, it's still playing on Jazz stations around the country

"I like my Pullman Standards & Budds in Stainless Steel flavors, thank you!"

AC/DC is blasting into my skull thru my headphones.

"Hells Bells.
Satan's commin to you.
Hells Bells.
Hes ringin' them now.
Hells Bells.
Theyre Takin you Down."

AC/DC will never die.

Ha ha! Wiser words there are none.

I am listening to Don Gibson's Solitudes, Christmas Album.

Next comes Micahel Praetorius' Christimette with Paul McCreesh and the Gabrieli Consort & Players. We'll be into Bing in no time at all. Except, it is pouring, not snowing.

Merry Christmas, All.

Listening to the ka-zillionth playing of "Grandma Got Runover by a Reindeer" or any one of the other popular Christmas songs. Give me a good Bign Crosby album of Christmas music instead of this stuff....Gads...."Rusty Chevrolet" and "Santa Baby" are just getting too much!!!

Merry Christmas to all!

I hear the sound of fans and hard drives on two computers and the faint motion of the printer, all sandwitched in between the TV showing "James Bond - Living daylights"
